This Contract will cover the long term hire of road sweepers and includes the associated maintenance.
Suppliers must be able to deliver sweepers listed under all three Lots to be considered to deliver this contract.
Lot 1 - Long Term Hire of Precinct Road Sweepers (GVW 2,500kg - 3,500kg)
Lot 2 - Long Term Hire of Compact Road Sweepers (GVW no greater than 3,500kg)
Lot 3 - Long Term Hire of Truck Mounted Road Sweepers (GVW 10,000kg - 15,000kg)
Gateshead Council is looking to procure a fault rectification break-fix support service for Dell servers and storage devices. This includes approximately:
163 Dell Poweredge servers
6 Powervault disc and NAS devices
The Council's server hardware infrastructure consists of Windows 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 servers plus a limited number of Linux servers running on Dell hardware. All hardware associated with this contract is currently monitored by the Council using Dell's product OME. The Council will not require a monitoring system as part of this particular contract.
A full list of all equipment to be covered by this service will be provided. However, suppliers should note that this list is not static, and that new equipment will be purchased and installed, and old equipment decommissioned, both prior to the contract commencing and during the period of this contract.
We currently have 77 devices located at the Gateshead Civic Centre, 6 at the Central Library and the other 64 are located in approximately 53 Gateshead Council sites at different locations throughout the Borough. NEPO seeks to establish a framework for the provision of Tech Enabled Care and Lone Working. This framework will allow Contracting Authorities to call-off on a range of solutions/devices, it will also offer Contracting Authorities discount for bulk purchases.
The scope of this Framework is for the provision of products and services in relation to Technology Enabled Care Services and Lone Working Solutions.
Technology Enabled Care refers to the use of Telecare, Telehealth, and other monitoring devices or applications, to enabled clients living independently for longer whilst managing risks. Digital transform shift has meant that this Framework will enable the participating Local Authorities, to source better solutions for their requirements and areas of needs.
The contract will be a Framework which will over:
• LOT 1 Traditional Telecare & Telehealth Items
• LOT 2 Lone Worker, Personal Alarm & GPS Devices (Both Professional & Client Use)
The Framework will complimented by a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), this will be published after the framework. The DPS will be for Daily Living Solutions, Smart Home Devices, New & Emerging Technology and Co Design and other items which are not listed within the Framework, or that require bespoke solutions. The DPS will remain open to allow new entrants on the market to come onto the DPS.
Gateshead Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced Insurance Company (not broker) to provide quality Leaseholders Property Insurance.
The current Long Term Agreement expires on 01 April 2023. Gateshead Council invites bids for the provision of its property insurance in respect of private dwellings sold on a leasehold basis, the majority of these were under the Right To Buy (RTB) legislation.
Cover is expected to commence at 00.01am on the 1st April 2023.

Gateshead Council ("The Council"), owns and manages a portfolio of business centres providing commercial space to a range of small and medium sized businesses. The Council are looking to re-tender the contract for a combined communications solution that will consist of the provision and management of business Broadband (including WIFI support) and a hosted telephony system, which serves the business centres.
The Autism Hubs in Gateshead will improve equitable access to information and support around a range of Autism-related issues and co-morbidities. The Provider will act as a main point of contact for queries from parents and carers where the query relates primarily to autistic children and young people.
The Provider will deliver training to Staff working at the Family Hubs, and other relevant Staff within the Gateshead Health and Care System to improve their awareness around autism. The Provider will also deliver 'train the trainer' sessions to Staff in relevant teams, in order to co-deliver Autism Awareness (or equivalent) training to parents and carers.

To meet Gateshead Councils housing requirements and to fulfil the demand for bungalows across the borough, suitably qualified Design Build Developers are sought to provide residential Bungalows at existing garage sites. Sites for development have been identified within the Councils Garages strategy and are located across the Borough of Gateshead. The identified sites will be assessed for suitability for development prior to development and the Council make no assurance of the number of garage sites which will be suitable for development.
Supply of maintenance of a Notice Processing System for the operation of Civil Parking, Bus Lane and other Moving Traffic Contraventions, including bus lane cameras, handheld terminals and associated hardware, as well as the provision of video footage review and mailing services.
