The project will replace the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham with a new two-lane dual carriageway 70m South of the existing road length of Dual Carriageway and is 5km in length including safety improvements existing junctions. The project total cost is estimated to be in the region of £100million pounds plus. The new slip roads will re-route traffic away from the junction and flow it under new underpasses. The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2023 and will take around 2 years to complete. Outline Scope of Works Stage 1: Early Contractor Involvement. To provide technical and commercial input into the detailed design phase and to formulate the budget and programme for the works. Stage 2: Construction. To provide all necessary supervision, labour, plant and materials required to undertake piling under the A11 & A47. The required output from the survey is a 2D and 3D model. The 3D model needs to be in a format that can be incorporated into the full site model. This survey will focus on the offline areas of the project. Any online elements will be instructed separately.
