The works include but not limited to Filter Drains, Carrier Drain and all associated chambers, catchpits, etc. Outline Scope of Works - The Package of Drainage consists: - Excavation of trenches and install drainage pipes, ensuring proper alignment, gradients, and connection points. - Construction of gullies, manholes, and catchpits at appropriate intervals and depths according to the design specifications. Installation of filter and carrier pipes, as well as any necessary drainage accessories. - Backfilling the excavated trenches with suitable materials, ensuring proper compaction to achieve desired stability and surface level. - Reinstatement the surrounding areas, such as pavements, roadways, and verges, to their original condition. Package: Archaeological Clerk of Works Outline Scope of Works To provide all necessary supervision/monitoring to the construction site to identify potential remains or artifacts. The ECoW will need to be based in Norwich or surrounding areas during the progress of the works. Some of the tasks that may be required from an ACoW are as following: Advising on how to avoid damaging or disturbing archaeological features. Supervising the excavation and recording of any archaeological remains that are uncovered during construction. Keeping accurate records of all archaeological work carried out on site, including plans, photographs, and written reports. Liaising with local authorities, heritage bodies, and archaeological consultants to ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines and to plan how the archaeological investigations are to be carried out. Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure that work is being carried out in compliance with relevant legislation, HWSI and guidelines. Programme It is currently anticipated that the ECoW works will commence in June 2023 until December 2023.
