THIS CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE IS AN AMENDMENT (STANDSTILL PERIOD EXTENDED) OF PREVIOUS CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE REF: 2026/S 000-001884 Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invited tenders for the collection, treatment and processing of municipal waste for each of four Lots. Each Lot Contract is to be for an initial period of 2 years from award of the Lot Contract, with options, entirely at the discretion of the Council, to extend each Lot Contract for 3 further periods each of twelve months. The contract materials differ between Lots and in total cover a) residual waste arising from the Council kerbside refuse collection service and recycling centre residual waste and b) bulky wastes (furniture, carpet and mattresses) collected from the bulky household collection service and Household Recycling Centres

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invited Tenders to put in place 3 Frameworks of Main Contractor Teams for each of three Lots, 1 - Building Works, 2 - Civil Engineering Works and 3 - Outdoor Play and Recreation Works. Each Framework will provide a Main Contractor Team to deliver Capital Projects. Sub Contractors may be required depending on the projects specifics. The Main Contractor will be responsible for the performance of its sub-contractors and other members of the supply chain. The successful Main Contractor will work on Fermanagh and Omagh District Council funded and non-funded projects of varying construction works values. These projects will include, but not be limited to Architectural, Building, Civil Engineering, Public Realm, Environmental Improvements, Conservation, Play Areas, car parks, building fit outs, water recreational and sports ground construction. Any other works required for a particular appointment

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invited tenders for the development, delivery and evaluation of a PEACEPLUS 'Action Volunteer Support Programme'. The programme aims to inject aspiration to build capacity of existing community groups and to form new cross community networks/partnerships. The programme was identified as a key priority through the consultation process with an emphasis on recruiting young volunteers and adding value to existing service provision. The programme will include a wide range of initiatives to better equip communities to react confidently to new challenges in this post-pandemic era and cost of living crisis. The programme will enable participants (on a cross-community basis) to learn new skills, undertake accredited courses, support committees to create greater diversity on their management structure and influence the next generation of leaders to make lasting positive change within their communities.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is to commission a single advice provider to deliver advice to clients across the whole Fermanagh and Omagh District area for the period commencing from date of award and ending 31 March 2025 with options to extend for a further three additional 12 Month periods at the sole discretion of the Council.

Fermanagh and Omagh Council (FODC) invited Tenders from experienced hydropower specialists for the Recommission, Operation and Management of the Camowen Hydro Scheme located in Omagh, for a Period of 10 years. The successful tenderer will recommission the Hydro Scheme, and enter into lease agreement with the Council, which will include a power purchase agreement, whereby the tenderer will supply electricity to the co-located leisure centre at an agreed price point, via the in-situ Council-owned private wire. The objective of the hydro-power facility, is to: • Generate electricity and supply co-located Omagh Leisure Complex; • To sell-off surplus power to the national grid. • To generate and sell renewable obligation certificates (ROC's) for additional revenue. The main works of the project shall include as follows: 1) Engineering assessment and preparation of a repair and recommissioning plan and budget allocation for the hydro scheme. 2) Liaison with all regulatory bodies to achieve regulatory compliance and signoff 3) Full mechanical and electrical repair to achieve stable operation. 4) Recommissioning of the hydro scheme. 5) Ongoing operation and maintenance of the hydro scheme
