Fawley Parish Council (the Council) are seeking offers from Suppliers who can refurbish the fitness suite at the Gang Warily Recreation & Community Centre, Newlands Road, Fawley, SO45 1GA, and provide new cardiovascular and strength equipment to replace the current Precor equipment. The existing cardio equipment and dual cable is approximately 13 years old, the gym has also not been fully refurbished in this time.

Fawley Parish Council requires a Changing Places (CP) toilet to be installed within the current accessible changing area located on the ground floor of Gang Warily Recreation Centre. It is recommended that any prospective bidders conduct a site visit prior to submitting a bid. Tenders are to be submitted in hard copy in a sealed marked envelope addressed to Dannielle Alexander, Finance Office, at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, Newlands Road, Fawley, SO45 1GA by 10am on Friday 28th June 2024. Fawley Parish Council is proposing to replace existing single pipe goals at three sites with modern, safer, solid backed permanent goals constructed of steel and suitable for use by children and/or adults. An example of the preferred style is Kompan's FRE 3050 (the tender is not restricted to this and the example given is indicative of style only). The goals to be supplied and fitted with old goals removed and disposed of. At another site called Renda Road play area it has a small amount of play equipment on site that is serviceable. The recent annual inspection report is available with this invitation to tender. The Council is seeking improvements to the play provision and would like to provide facilities for up to age 15 in order for the site to be appropriate for detached youth work. Fawley Parish Council is looking to refurbish the existing Granwood floor in the main sports hall at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, including the application of new court markings. Experienced sports flooring installers are invited to tender for the contract, with their recommendations for the most cost-effective approach to improve the appearance, performance, and durability of the existing floor.
