1) The Council is tendering for an airfield operator at Solent Airfield Daedalus.
2) The airfield exists as part of the Council's assets in the wider site called Daedalus, which includes other key assets including Faraday Business Park, Swordfish Business Park and the QEII Platinum Jubilee Park. The airfield cannot operate in isolation from these areas.
3) The current operator contract expires 31/3/26.

e-ITT for Cleaning and Security Services at Fareham Shopping Centre PO16 0PQ
Fareham Borough Council (the Council) requires a contractor to provide security and cleaning services in respect of Fareham Shopping Centre.
Fareham Shopping Centre complex opened in 1976 and is Fareham's largest covered shopping centre. It occupies an area of approximately 475,000 sq.ft. of retail floor. It encompasses a fully covered shopping centre all on one level and a multi-story car park with associated service areas, roads, and landscaped areas.
Fareham Shopping Centre occupies an area on the ground level of the main trading area with a communal seating area, the cleaning and maintenance of which is the responsibility of the Client.
The services to be provided under the contract will include external and back of house areas, which are restricted to authorised staff and comprise all service areas, staff areas, non-tenanted space, service corridors, pavements, walkways, service roads, paths and refuse and other communal areas at first floor level and landscaped areas, where covered by the building structure or any canopy fitted thereto. The main Shopping Centre includes all internal areas accessible to members of the public including toilets, lifts etc. except tenant's shop units.
Fareham Shopping Centre Multistorey Car Park comprises an adjoining 3-level car park with 207 spaces but parking machines/enforcement are managed by Fareham Borough Council's Car Parking Team. The services to be provided under the contract will include 2 passenger lifts and staircases.
The north-south walkway through Fareham Shopping Centre forms an important link between the town's live entertainment venue (Fareham Live) and other restaurants, parking and leisure venues. This link is likely to be kept open on an increasing frequency late into the evening after the main shopping facilities have closed and the contractor will be required to adapt staffing over time to cater for these needs.
The Council will be the Client, but the contractor will report to the Centre Manager, who is employed by Munroe K Asset Management (the Council's Managing Agent).

e-ITT - Civil Engineering Consultant Services For Swordfish Development Area at Solent Airport
FBC now wish to commence the enabling of land on the west side of the airport, in the area to be known as Swordfish Business Park to release more land for development for the purposes of B2, B8 and E(ii) and E(iii) planning use classes. The area is shown outlined in red in fig 1 below and is approximately 20 Ha in area.
e-ITT - Civil Engineering Consultant Services For Swordfish Development Area at Solent Airport
FBC are the owners of Solent Airport and, in addition to operating the Airport, have a development plan to utilise land around the airport perimeter to increase employment opportunities in the local area. The development programme includes both plot sales, for specific requirements developed by the plot purchasers, and development by FBC to provide employment space. To date such development has included Faraday Business Park – Phase 1 on Spitfire Way, HC Coils facility on Vulcan Way, 2 phases of the innovation centre on Meteor Way, with other plots currently under construction The development plan includes the provision of appropriate plot enabling infrastructure and to date this has been concentrated on the East side of the airport, in the area known as Faraday Business Park.

The Council is seeking a single contractor to maintain, service, replacement of heating and hot water systems for Fareham Borough Council’s Housing Properties and Public Buildings

Landscape design and consultancy services to produce the required tender documents for engineering and landscaping work to RIBA Stage 3 or equivalent with the aim to improve the functionality, sustainability and aesthetic appearance of the lakes and ponds within Holly Hill Woodland Park resulting in a successful stage 2 Lottery Bid submission for the works stage.
Carry out concrete repairs and all associated works to Eighteen blocks of Maisonettes located within the borough of Fareham.
Fareham Borough Council have undertaken structural surveys to Eighteen blocks of maisonettes to determine the extent of concrete repairs required to: -
• Precast concrete canopies. 144 in number
• Cast in-situ RC communal balconies.36 in number

This appointment is for work during Milestone Stage 1 (Outline Masterplan RIBA 2 and AMPs RIBA 3 - subject to instruction) and subsequently, subject to further council approvals - Milestone Stage 2 (Planning / elements of RIBA 3) up to and including the award of planning consent for the Outline Masterplan and thereafter Stage 3 - delivery of the 'enabling works'.
Fees
To assist the Consultant in preparing a fee proposal the fee matrix contained within the ITT document contains a 'build cost' tab which sets out the current estimated costs for the various works. To further assist fee considerations the projects have been split into shopping centre refurbishment and mixed-use categories.
Objectives
Develop and deliver a robust Civils & Structural Engineering Strategy and appropriate RIBA stage information that is aligned with Fareham Borough Councils strategic objectives to secure planning consent for the masterplanning proposals outlined within the 'Fareham Town Centre Regeneration Strategy 2025-2035' and within the programme outlined within the tender documentation.
The scope of services relates to the services of a Civil & Structural Engineer to secure planning for the scheme alongside an RIBA 3 pack for the works that the Client intends to carry out, all as described within the published ITT and its appendices.
At this stage, we are not disclosing the project budget, but we encourage bidders to propose cost-effective and value-driven solutions aligned with the project scope and objectives

Public realm improvements as part of the Fareham Town Centre Regeneration Strategy 2025 - 2035

New skate parks at Stubbington and Wicor Recreation Grounds-Fareham Borough Council
The current skate ramps at Stubbington Recreation Ground and Wicor Recreation Ground are deteriorating and need replacement.
They are currently made of metal and need to be removed and replaced with concrete ramps and other items.
The purpose of this tender is to appoint a contractor to remove the existing skate ramps and replace them.
