Award via SBS Framework for Outsourced Clinical Services SBS/20/NL/ZPS/9383. To support Histopathology recovery and supplement technical and reporting capacity through utilising external laboratory and reporting from sub-contractor.

Procurement conducted a G-Cloud 13 search resulting in 5 x suppliers. Costings were evaluated by the Digital Services Team with the contract awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender submission.

This requirement was procured via the CCS Digital Outcomes 6 framework. A two-stage procurement process was conducted with the outcome of 5 x suppliers being invited to tender.

Procured via G-Cloud 13 framework through conducting a search resulting in a longlist which was then evaluated down to a shortlist. The shortlisted suppliers were evaluated further for capability resulting in the awarded supplier.

Award via the East of England Framework for Clinical Neutral Vendor Managed Services. The Managed Service provider will be responsible for the management of equipment, reagents, and consumables for 3 X Maldi-TOF analysers for the Bacteriology hubs at Wexham and Frimley Park Hospital. The equipment is used for the identification of target organisms isolated from ill-patients using mass spectrophotometry which is assisted by laser (deionisation).

Cryotherapy knee wraps with associated free of charge equipment. For Heatherwood hospital's elective orthopaedic wards. The department trialled 4 knee joint cryotherapy products but only one was found to be the most suitable. The suitable product is not available on NHS supply chain. The contract value is a guide only as the amount will vary based on consumable usage.

Provision of Internal and External Window Cleaning.

A mini competition was run via the HealthTrust Europe ICT Solutions 3 Hybrid Mini Competition framework for VEEAM licences needed by the Trust. A list of renewal licences and new licences was provided to the suppliers to submit commercial responses.

Internal Audit and Counter Fraud Services for Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The Trust had an on-prem solution that needed to move to a cloud solution. The cloud solution was procured via the G-Cloud 13 framework.

The Trust issued an expression of interest and an open tender launched in 2024 to secure a local University training partner. Tender was abandoned due to costs over budget. 4 months post tender, the Trust engaged a local provider for a quote. Pricing was within budget and when benchmarked, offer represented value for money

Direct Award Contract for the provision of printed stationery & leaflets across Frimley Health

The tender was issued via the HealthTrust Europe ICT Solutions 2023 framework to the 11 x participating suppliers for a Server Hardware Support service to the Trust.

CCS Framework aggregation for water service RM63006 CCS ran e-auction

CCS ran a tender on behalf of the Trust under the framework RM6331 Healthcare Soft FM, Lot 3g - Total Waste Management. The purpose of the tender was to appoint a supplier for Total Waste Management Services for a 5 year contract.

Award via mini competition utilising the NHS Supply Chain - Laboratory Diagnostics, Point of Care Testing & Pathology Managed Services Framework. The Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services Network (POCT) glucose and ketone service is currently standardised across ASPH, FH, RBH and RSFT with a single device platform for glucose and ketone testing (although not all are enabled for ketone testing). A total of 110 of these are connected via a data manager with the remaining 10 used as standalone devices. BSPS is appointing a managed service provider to supply and install a Wi-Fi-connected POCT solution for both blood glucose and ketones. The solution will cover all Trusts served by the network for existing and new areas that require this service including the POCT team. The solution must include all devices and Wi-Fi connections and the capability to hard wire connections to the current IT Data System. Included as part of the solution are battery and storage cases, internal quality control (IQC), external quality assessment (EQA), training support, IT interfacing as well as service and maintenance contracts.
