NB This requirement also includes the provision of products to First Class lounge facilities at specific stations, special events and some HQ Office locations.

FirstRail Holdings (FRH) in conjunction with their Rail Business units are seeking to contract with a new FM provider(s) in the delivery of their Planned and Reactive Electrical, Mechanical & Building Fabric works.
FRH and our TOC's aspire to lead the way in how we deliver service provisions to our Stakeholders, that being either our internal stakeholders at our stations and ultimately our external stakeholders being our paying customers.
We are seeking to contract with FM Provider(s) which will enable FRH to deliver on these values into the future and to grow with our Franchises and our Journey into Asset Management. Each one of our Train Operating Companies (TOC's) either hold or are working to towards ISO55001 in Asset Management and as the FM Provider the works being delivered underpin the success and future development of this Standard.
First Rail are seeking a development partner for their existing customer-facing iOS and Android mobile apps. The requirement is for a mixture of dedicated/retained and ad-hoc/on demand teams for the ability to deliver against a prioritised roadmap of feature development, security enhancements and bug fixes. The supplier will deliver roadmap items, maintain backlog, plan sprints and releases, manage UAT phases and contribute to ongoing user research activities. The supplier will also manage the development, test, staging and production environments, ensuring alignment (as close as possible) between staging and prod. The supplier must have extensive experience and knowledge of the UK rail retail market and associated RDG standards.
The Supplier is required to provide third party cleaning operations covering the Lot 1 GWR and Lot 2 SWR network. The types of services undertaken are split in four service categories:
(a) Train cleaning including Turnround and Depot operations,
(b) In-transit cleaning operations,
(c) Station cleaning operations (including Washrooms, HQ/ Back Office, 1st Class Lounges and Car Parks)
(d) Train / Driver Crew Offices.
The Supplier will be required to align cleaning requirements to train timetable changes for the Customer (due in May and December each year), to ensure "In transit" cleaning is maintained at the correct levels across the whole network, to meet current outputs and standards as well as managing reduced turnaround times at all stations going forward. There may also be some changes to cater for special events. For such events, additional trains may be put in place, or trains may convey more carriages. Although such arrangements are usually planned in advance, there will need to be some degree of flexibility to deal with any impact upon workload.
Supply and delivery of gasoil by road tanker to Great Western Railway and South Western Railway depots.
The Product being supplied shall be provided in accordance with BS2869 Class D (BS EN 590: 2022) equivalent or better, marked and dyed in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs Regulations.

We require an agency that can provide the following Media Strategy, Planning and Buying Services.
* Delivery of value for money, as well as providing excellent customer service including strategic implementational buying advice;
* Capability of working in partnership with other agencies and specialists to deliver the media buying aspect of fully integrated campaigns for the Client to ensure the process from strategy to implementation is successful;
* Implementation of media buying plans and deliver innovative/best media buying and advice that is fully integrated across all channels and best practice communications to achieve the Client's objectives and must comply with the Advertising Standards;
* Act in an open and transparent manner with the Client in delivering the Services being open and transparent in relation to the Charges, the placement of media and the access to and provision of data in relation to the Services.
* Provision of end-to-end media strategy, planning and buying services.
The Agency shall provide a proactive approach to each media buying brief, ensuring innovation and best in class media buying solutions (in terms of quality, value, and safety) and reconciliation provisions are provided to the Client.
The agency shall manage and deliver fully integrated campaigns, either by delivering services in-house or if agreed in advance between the parties via sub-contracting.
First Rail Holdings (FRH) is seeking a Supplier to provide third-party Tram cleaning services to Tram Operations Limited (TOL). TOL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FirstGroup PLC.
TOL is contracted as network operator of London Trams, part of Transport for London (TfL), a light rail tram system serving Croydon and surrounding areas in South London.
The network is 28 kms in length, of which 4 kms are 'on street'. Operations are managed from a Depot where a fleet of 35 trams is based and maintained.
The Supplier will undertake cleaning services for:
A) Infrastructure - tram stops and line of route litter picks;
B) Depot - main building (offices and workshop), track and sidings, Tramlink House, service roads and car parking,
pavements and walkways, depot plant and gates, de-icing and snow clearance;
C) Other premises - Tram Shop (Croydon), toilets at termini, berthing station, sub-station, main gateway (exterior to
fence line);
D) Trams - run-in procedure, interior tram cleans, exterior tram cleans, in-service litter picks;
E) Incidents (response, bio-hazards, major injury/fatality) and Miscellaneous (windscreen washers; sand silo, water
softener, waste water discharge, fly-tipping).
First Rail RSPS/UK rail accredited WebTIS solution
FRH will contract for an RSPS accredited TIS service with either a functionally full set of APIs or white label solution. This service would be for the customer retail website and app for Great Western Railway, South Western Railway, Hull Trains and Lumo.
FRH framework & two direct agreements (GWR/SWR) for the provision of Ticket Issuing System (TIS) software licences, full software and hardware support and maintenance, and option to procure hardware, for both Station Ticket Office and On-Board Portable Devices for the duration of the contracts.
This procurement will be for the award of a Framework agreement to cover the majority of requirements for hoses and filters currently fitted to rolling stock operated by both GWR and SWR.

First Rail Holdings (FRH) are seeking to award a contract/s to a supplier/s with a proven track record of delivering high quality Non-Hazardous Waste Removal and Waste Segregation Services provider on behalf of Great Western Railway (GWR), South Western Railway (SWR) and Avanti West Coast (AWC). The contract/s will cover all stations, depots, and office facilities.
First Rail Holdings (FRH) are seeking to contract with a Hygiene Waste Services provider on behalf of Great Western Railway (GWR) and South Western Railway (SWR) and Avanti West Coast (AWC). The provision of Hygiene Waste services includes the both the supply and servicing of containers/dispensers and consumables. The contract will cover all stations, depots, and office facilities.
First Rail Holdings Ltd is looking to establish a framework of Service Providers to deliver a range of property consultancy services relating to construction and SISS.
The Framework will be split into 7 Lots as follows:
1. Projects Design Consultancy Services
2. SISS Engineer Consultancy Services
3. Contract Administrator Consultancy Services
4. QS / Cost Management Consultancy Services
5. Infrastructure & Depots Consultancy Services
6. Minor works Consultancy Services
7. Clerk of Works & Technical Guardian Consultancy Services
Service Providers will be required to cover all disciplines detailed under each Lot for a compliant submission.
Lots 1, 6 and 7 are further split by North / South Regions.
The Framework will run for an initial core term of 1 year, with an optional extension of up to 2 years, in up to 1-year increments at a time.
The total value of the Framework is estimated to be in the region of £7,200,000 (for the total 3-year maximum duration). This value is split over the 7 Lots.
First Rail Holdings is establishing this Framework for use by all of its Rail Train Operating Companies and affiliate businesses.
There is no guarantee of work being awarded under this Framework.
In the event that FRH are responsible for additional business affiliates or rail divisions, these shall be included within this Framework.
In the event that FRH are no longer responsible for a Train Operating company (TOC), the relevant TOC shall be removed from this Framework.
The Framework will automatically close at the end of the maximum 3-year term, or once the total stated value is reached (whichever is sooner).
6 Suppliers will be shortlisted from PQQ to ITN stage for each of the Lots, with 3 Suppliers being awarded to the Framework for each of Lots 1, 2, 6 and 7 (3 per region where applicable within Lots), and 4 Suppliers for Lots 3, 4 and 5.

This project seeks to procure and implement a modern, future-proofed train planning solution that ensures continuity of service delivery, operational safety, and readiness for HS2 operations. The new system will integrate seamlessly with rostering and control platforms, enabling incremental enhancements aligned with the Digital Railway strategy.
First are seeking bidders who can support delivery of the following objectives:
• Deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) replacement for a train planning solution by February 2028.
• Ensure integration with rostering and control systems to streamline operational workflows.
