One or more Implementation and Support Partners are needed to assist English Heritage in its delivery of a new EPoS, Stock and Sales, and Ticketing Admissions solution and associated technologies using existing hardware where possible.
English Heritage is soon to complete a programme which will move much of the architecture onto the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. As part of the broader Technology Services strategy, we are focused on using Microsoft technologies where possible and are also nearing the completion of a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution which will be one of the key integrations with this solution. A potential solution might leverage the Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform and store its solution specific data within the Dataverse whilst leveraging existing Dataverse tables.
The proposed solution should offer integration through REpresentational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to enable integration with our systems.
Ideally, we are looking for a single partner to deliver a solution that can provide all of the required capabilities, however, we will also consider a lead or split-vendor approach which delivers the Stock and Sales element with specific capabilities such as ticketing, being provided by different vendors with defined integration points between the systems and an appropriate contractual model.

The solution will utilise our existing EPoS hardware (tills, scanners, printers) where possible, which will need to be fully supported.
The project is divided up into two distinct deliverables:
Lot 1 - EPoS and Ticketing solution implementation and software support partner.
Lot 2 - Support Partner for the Provision of EPoS Terminal Image Management plus EPoS hardware and associated peripherals support.
English Heritage wants to ensure this opportunity is open to a broad range of businesses, and accordingly tenderers may submit tender responses for one or both of the above lots. The award for each lot will be determined separately but bidders may be awarded more than one lot if they are the highest scoring across multiple lots. Unless otherwise stated by the bidder, any responses to quality questions will be taken to apply to all lots for which pricing has been submitted.

English Heritage is embarking on a key digital upgrade. Our current project aims to transition from our existing MPLS network to a Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN). This change aligns with our commitment to continually enhancing the experiences we offer our visitors.
In preparation for the delivery of SD-WAN in 2024, there's also a need to update the LAN hardware at several of our sites. Consequently, the purpose of this tender document is to procure, pre-stage, and install the new network switches, ensuring our infrastructure is robust and ready for the upcoming advancements.
We are seeking potential partners who can ensure that our network infrastructure meets the demands of the future.
