The Framework will provide EEM Members with a provision for their Lifts solution, including but not limited to, full installs, part refurbishment, full refurbishment, Servicing and Maintenance. The Framework will be split into the following work streams as Lots: Lot 1 - Lifts Installs, Refurbishment. EEM conducted this procurement exercise and have subsequently awarded and entered into framework agreements with contractors to carry out Insulation and associated works on behalf of our membership. Works via the framework are to include; • External Wall Insulation, design, enabling and installation works. • Exterior Render Systems . • Exterior Wall Cladding Systems. • External Wall Insulation Repair and Maintenance. • Internal Wall Insulation design, enabling and installation works. • Cavity Wall Insulation (Extraction Services, Virgin and Cavity Wall Insulation Re-fill). • Retrofit Floor Insulation (solid or suspended). • Loft Insulation (virgin and re-fill). • Attic/Room in Roof Insulation. • Retrofit Energy Efficiency measures to Park Homes. • Works associated with Insulation Programmes including but not limited to windows and doors, roofing, guttering, builders and ancillary works. Full details of works covered by the framework are detailed within the tender documents. Appointed framework contractors hold BBA accreditation and certification for insulation products. Installation of systems will be compliant with the manufacturer's instructions and latest PAS Standards. Compliance with both PAS 2030: 2019 and PAS 2035: 2019 is mandatory for all companies installing insulation via an appropriate body such as British Board of Agrément (BBA), The Insulation Assurance Authority (IAA) or equal approved body. Contractors appointed to the framework are able to offer a Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee (SWIGA) or an equivalent work guarantee scheme guarantee for Solid Wall Insulation works and a Cavity Insulation Guarantee (CIGA) or an equivalent work guarantee scheme for Cavity Wall Insulation works. EEM Ltd managed a mini competition on behalf of our member, Charnwood Borough Council via our Consultancy DPS (DPS0010) for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates for Council Accommodation. GEP Environmental Ltd were successful and awarded the contract. The contract duration is for 2 years and commenced on 21 February 2022 with a possibility to extend for a further 2 years based on the Consultants performance during the initial contract term and Charnwood gaining internal approval for a contract extension. EEM conducted this tender exercise to procure a Stairlifts, Hoists and Disabled Adaptations Framework to replace our existing Framework which expired on Friday the 15th of July 2022. This Framework is being set up to support EEM Members by providing a Framework of contractors with suitable experience in undertaking the safe and compliant installation, servicing and any subsequent repairs of straight and curved stairlifts, hoists & disabled access equipment. Stairlift installations and servicing will cover a varied scope of stairlifts in different heights, seat widths and to suit curved and straight staircases and a range of budgets.
