Appointment of Integrated Supply Team for Scoil an Droichid, Belfast (Ref MA17-10106295) - The project is for the provision of a new build primary school and nursery. The project is to be delivered within a single phase and will include a 7-class primary school, a 2-class MLD, a single nursery unit and associated SMA. The site is off the Ormeau Roads and North Parade in Belfast and is the site of the former (now demolished) Ulidia Resource Centre. The site has been cleared and left level with existing perimeter protection left in place, however a certain amount of ground contamination exists. The project is to be constructed within a 12-month period.

The project is for the provision of a new build facility that, on completion, will facilitate delivery of a fully compliant educational curriculum for 820nr pupils of post-primary school age in the area currently served by Abbey Community College, located at the old Monkstown site on Bridge Road, Newtownabbey. The proposed building will be constructed on a site which comprises two separate parcels of land, located on the corner Doagh Road and Bridge Road and divided by the latter. The proposed building is of generally two storey construction with single storey elements and extends to approximately 11,650sqm GIFA. In addition to the school building, the site will be developed to include a new entrance, drop off area and parking provision together with new sports pitches. Additional sports pitches and ballcourts will be constructed on the parcel of land located opposite Bridge Road and linked to the Doagh Road site by an existing pedestrian underpass.
The project is for the provision of Bangor Central Integrated Primary School. The new build primary school will be located on a greenfield site at Balloo Road, Bangor, BT19 7PG. The development will comprise of a new single storey, 22 class primary school building and recreational areas. Works also include a new vehicular access with right turn lane off Balloo Road and signalised crossing lights at the existing pedestrian crossing point on the Balloo Road. Internal vehicular configuration and site layout to include car parking, car and bus pick up/drop off areas and pedestrian crossing points. Other works will include service area, bin storage areas, boundary fencing, entrance walls and gates, underground drainage, landscaping and associated site works.

Appointment of an Integrated Consultants Team for the delivery of Slemish Integrated College, Ballymena, a 1050 pupil post primary school. The successful ICT will work on a Traditional Design basis, to take the Project through RIBA Stages 0-7. The project will incorporate several outdoor recreation provisions, including Tennis Courts, Synthetic/Grass Sports Pitches and Hard/Grass play to meet all DE handbook requirements for a school of this size. Parking, transport requirements, delivery and maintenance will also form part of the overall scope.
