DfI TRAM has a requirement for the supply, delivery and installation of 4 No kerosene heated Static Hot Box bulk asphalt containers.

DfI, in partnership with PHA, seeks to commission a new programme which will encourage and support more children to regularly walk and cycle to school. The scope of this contract invites the design, provision and delivery of a programme of co-ordinated sustainable travel to school activities which will result in more children cycling, wheeling, scooting and walking to school more safely and more often. The programme will support schools to develop a culture of active travel within the whole school, which will be sustained after the lifetime of the programme. The programme will be delivered to 60 level one schools; 30 level two schools; 50 level three schools and ongoing engagement with 319 schools as part of the extended support network.

The department are seeking to secure a framework agreement for the supply and delivery of asphalt concrete, hot rolled asphalt and coated chippings and supply and delivery contracts for permanent cold lay surfacing materials that fully meet the departments operational needs in a sustainable manner, taking account of any opportunities for innovation and minimising environmental impacts. The contracts will facilitate depot representatives to purchase materials and products in order to meet their business needs.

Term Contract for Surface Dressing -Within each Contract Area, the works to be undertaken under this Contract may include, but not be limited to, the following principal work activities which are provided by way of example: A. Application of Surface Dressing B. Associated Road Markings C. Delivery of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) as part of associated civils works on live trafficked Public Roads Further ancillary works may be asked of the successful Economic Operator. The Department for Infrastructure is seeking to form a framework agreement comprising up to 6 suitably qualified and experienced companies to provide engineering design consultancy services to assist the Department in taking forward the planning, assessment and delivery of the current Strategic Road Improvement / Major Works Roads Programme; to develop / deliver new schemes identified in the forthcoming Transport Plans; to deliver schemes identified in City and Growth Deals; and to deliver large active travel projects as identified in future plans.

Stangford Lough Ferry Service requires a Contractor to provide access to marine mechanical maintenance specialists who will carry out inspections, maintenance and repairs of the mechanical systems to ensure that their vessels comply with MCA regulations and retain Passenger Certificates.

Procurement is for supply and installation and support and maintenance of a Winter Service GPS and Route Navigation system that will be used to track and monitor approximately 135 DfI Roads gritting vehicles throughout the whole of Northern Ireland. The Organisation is divided into 4 geographical areas, North, South, East and West. Each area contains a number of depots and vehicles are assigned to these depots. The Winter Service GPS and Route Navigation system will be an important element in delivering an effective and efficient winter service operation and providing the travelling public with a level of confidence during adverse winter weather conditions. The system will be required to provide vital Winter Service data as well as providing route navigation within the Winter Service fleet.

DfI Roads require a Supplier to supply and deliver potassium acetate based de-icer in liquid form for spreading on highway structures (bridges).

The Contractor must supply consumables to facilitate the production of taxi licence plates and labels for display on vehicles licensed by the Department for Infrastructure as taxis. The contract period is for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for 3 further 1 year periods.

IAN4 Coleraine, IAS4 Banbridge and Craigavon, IAS5 Ards and North Down, IAW7 Fermanagh

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) Roads and Rivers wishes to establish a framework agreement for the supply and delivery of centrifugal pumps. The requirement has been divided into 3 lots and Economic Operators may tender for one or more lot(s).

The service provider will be responsible for the management of the following: • On Street parking enforcement in three charged zones in Belfast, Newry and Lisburn. • On street enforcement of parking restrictions in 26 cities and towns across Northern Ireland that are non-charged zones. • On Street enforcement of one residents parking zone in Belfast. • Parking enforcement in 3 charged Park and Ride car parks near Belfast. • Bus lane and urban clearway enforcement using fixed and mobile CCTV in Belfast. • A Lift and Tow service for vehicles parked in a bus lane or urban clearway during a period of restriction. • Cash collection from P and D machines in charged zones – currently there are approximately 300 machines in place. • Provision of rationalised digitised P and D machines to replace the 300 currently on site. • P and D machine maintenance. • A cashless parking service as an alternative to paying by cash and displaying a ticket from an On-Street or Park and Ride car park Pay and Display (P and D) machine. • A clamp and removal service for PCN debt. • A pound facility to store vehicles removed to recover debt or for causing an obstruction on a bus lane or urban clearway. • A disposal service by either auction or crushing for vehicles held in the pound for more than 30 days that remain unrecovered by their owner. • Provision of a dedicated centralised customer service to facilitate enquiries from the public on matters such as P and D machine faults, season ticket management and removal of clamps etc. The current service deploys approximately 160 traffic attendants. It is hoped to reduce that figure to around 100 traffic attendants with the introduction of digitised enforcement. Approximately 120-160,000 Penalty Charge Notices have been issued annually through the current contract.

The Term Contract for Small Scale and Responsive Works - the works to be undertaken under this Contract may include, but not be limited to, the following Principal Work Activities which are provided by way of example: A. Delivery of temporary traffic management as part of associated civil works on a live trafficked public road network. B. Delivery of temporary traffic management as part of private street works. C. Temporary and permanent repairs/patching/reinstatements* of openings and defects in carriageways, footways and cycleways. D. Small network improvement schemes such as: a. traffic calming, b. traffic management, c. civils works associated with traffic signal replacements/installations at junctions/crossings. E. Construction and surfacing of carriageways, footways and cycleways. F. Provision, adjustment and maintenance of drainage systems. G. Provision and adjustment of kerblines. H. Earthworks including verge reconstruction and slope stability. I.
