The construction of a new sea wall along the line of the current sea wall (approximately 330m) and reinforcement of the seaward revetment to improve the Standard of Protection from tidal flooding and to reduce the risk of breach of the sea wall. The initial award is for Phase 1 only (106,143.32); Phase 2 will be added to this contract as a variation at a later date (£8,000,000.00).
Eastern MEICA Sub-Programme (ABRC) - This is a Framework Call-Off
To restore the Feildes Weir asset to the required condition as cost effectively, and sustainably (by minimising carbon impact) as possible, thus restoring flood defence capability in the locality. The Wraysbury Offtake Weir works and the EAN MEICA Package will be added to this contract at a later date.
