Deddington Parish Council (OX15 0QH) seeks a contractor to supply and install a new overclad roof at its Windmill Community Centre, a steel portal framed building with brick elevations, erected early 1980s. The building suffers from water leaks and condensation. Present roof is a composite metal profiled system; new roof will be galvanized steel with 0.7mm thick HPS200 or HP200 plastisol sheeting (or equal and approved), installed on manufacturer's fixing rail system to create a 250mm void which is to be filled with loose laid insulation to meet current building regs u values. Guttering and downpipes to be replaced with a metal cantilever oblong profile, scaffolding supplied and removed, and all waste to be removed from site, References, guarantees and T&C required. Additional insulation within the overclad to increase thermal efficiency, reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.
At its all-weather court, Windmill Centre, Deddington OX15 0QH, Deddington Parish Council seeks a contractor to (1) assess and find solution for possible drainage problem; (2) lay and mark out a new AW carpet. Court suffered mud seepage in heavy autumn rain. History of installation available. Contractor to: lift carpet and dispose of it; assess state of tarmac surface; take core samples where photographs showed mud seepage; assess drainage situation, and suggest solution and implement solution; lay new carpet and add line markings for football, tennis and netball.
Deddington Parish Council wishes to construct two mini-Red Tennis Courts at its Windmill Community Centre, Deddington. The land was previously used as a children's play area, and is immediately adjacent to an existing block of three hard tennis courts and the tennis clubhouse.
