Custody Healthcare Services operate within all custody suites and provides a clinical assessment of a detainees fitness for detention, interview, charge or supports an exit release risk assessment as required/requested by the police. The services also provide support to the forensic process carrying out activities such as taking samples for evidence purposes.
The service provides detainees with access to competent, qualified, and trained Healthcare Professionals (HCP's) and Advanced Practitioners on a 24/7 basis.

Only those suppliers whose tender submission can cater for all of the requirements detailed in the Statement of Requirements will be considered. The competition process is based on the Light Touch Regime, modelled and underpinned on the Open Procedure.
