The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) on behalf of Legal Information Network for Scotland (LINETS) have entered into a contract with Thomson Reuters. This is for access for up to 1800 licenses to Westlaw UK. This is a vast library of consolidated primary and secondary law combined with expert guidance. These products are either solely owned or held under licence by Thomson Reuters and not available elsewhere in the marketplace.

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) will be entering into a contract with Applications DBA Ltd to supply Oracle Database Administrator Services for its business-critical Database Environment to support the COPFS Database Team and lead on migration of the current Database Environment and Infrastructure to a modern, flexible system, capable of supporting COPFS Case Management Systems for the foreseeable future.

Expertise support and maintenance of the bespoke PROMiS Case Management System and underlying database shema including provision of bugs/issue resolutions. This is to allow the PROMiS system to continue in an essential role in the COPFS' Case Management digital system.

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) will be entering into a contract with Kick ICT Group to supply maintenance, development and software support for its suite of Finance and Procurement systems including SunSystems SunAccounts, DEPM, P2P, Spindle and bespoke add-on modules. This is to preserve the integration to Scottish Government's e-Procurement systems and ensure continuous updating and operation of the COPFS systems which are business critical, from a supplier able to provide highly responsive remote and on-site support, maintenance and development as required across all elements.
