Clun Town Council is seeking tenders from contractors with suitable knowledge of lime mortars and renders, and experience of masonry work on listed buildings in Shropshire and/or Herefordshire, for proposed repairs to Clun Town Hall Museum. In line with Government procurement rules (relating to grant), tenderers are asked to complete and submit a PQQ with their tender. Tenders from contractors who do not have proven experience of working with lime and stone in the region, will not be considered. Tenders are to be based on the attached Preliminaries, M&W Clauses and Schedule of Work. Tenders are to be returned by 5pm on Friday 26th April 2024, and should include: - PQQ - Tender Form - Priced Schedule of Work The building is on the road, alongside the town square, so there is no need to arrange access for tendering purposes. Tenderers should not, however, enter the private garden on the north side of the building.
