Cinderford Town Council are seeking a contractor to undertake a replacement of the Grade II listed slate roof at The Wesley. The scope of the works includes:
•Erect scaffold to provide roof access to The Wesley and the rear roof area
•Complete Re-Roof of Main Roof and Low-level Roof on Rear Building
• Strip both pitches of the Main Roof & Low-Level Roof
• Timber Treatment to all exposed Timbers
• Timber Repairs where necessary/applicable
• Install new Lead work
• Install new breathable insulating Felt and Batten
• Traditionally lay new Slates
• Install new Ridge Tiles - Similar style to ridges in situ
• Waste removal and ecological disposal
Ideally the Wesley has to remain in operation.

Invitation to Tender for Drainage & Car Park works to the new Cinderford Skate Park
Cinderford Town Council have been granted planning approval for the construction of a new skate park on the Miners Welfare Field, Barley Corn Square, GL14 2JH. As part of the enabling works for the skate park new drainage will need to be installed along with a new compacted stone access and compound area which will remain following construction as a car park. Works are to commence once final discharge of conditions have been granted by the District Council. The appointed contractor will need to work closely with Maverick Skate Parks to coordinate programme and requirements.
Works Requirements
The council would like you to submit costs based on the following drawings / details to carry out the drainage and car park / compound works. The compound area / compound works have been highlighted on Cinderford VIS3 - Site Plan Compound - Car Park Site - Access Area Highlighted Plan. Responses to the queries will be provided no later than 4pm on the 16th January. Tender returns should be issued to the same email address as above by 12 noon on the 20th January 2023. Along with costs an indicative programme of works should be provided.
Fire Detection Systems Upgrade - Dockham Road, Cinderford
Dockham Road is a property constructed around 1960's - 1970's. There has been little or no upgrades carried out on the fire alarm system. To ensure compliance a replacement system is required.
We require the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a new fire system to a category L1 (excluding voids).
