Choice Services Ireland Limited wish to appoint a sub-contractor for Property Security Systems and Services. Typical works to include door entry systems, intercom systems, security systems and CCTV systems.
Choice Housing Ireland wish to engage the services of a suitably experienced and competent contractor to provide MEI works to the above location. Replacement of windows, rainwater goods, fascia, soffit, barge, external doors, section of bitmac. Clean external walls, cills and plinth. Fire rated compartmentation to first floor office and removal of asbestos to soffits. The duration of the works is expected to be approximately 21 weeks.
Choice has approx. 90 communal or landlord natural gas supplies, including domestic, small commercial and large commercial gas contracts. The current contract expires on 30th September 2024 and the Association is seeking to secure the most competitive price across 3 Lots (covering the Greater Belfast network, ‘Ten Towns’ network and its commercial contacts). Choice is willing to consider a range of options, including fixed and variable prices, and one and two year timeframes. Options to group all of our natural gas supply or separate these into a number of contracts may also be considered. Natural Gas charges are typically passed on to tenants through their service charges and therefore Choice is seeking to ensure that it achieves value for money through a competitive exercise.
Choice Housing Ireland are currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a suitably qualified contractor for the provision of responsive maintenance, out of hours emergency works, void property works and adaptations. The services are required for the Association’s properties in the west of the province (Lots 3 and 4) and include sheltered, supported and general needs accommodation. Contract core tasks include Responsive Maintenance (including Emergency Works ordered during Normal Working Hours), Out of Hours Emergency Works, Technical Inspections, Handyperson Services, Property Health Checks/MOTs, Mutual Exchanges Electrical Tests, Void Property Works, Communal Mechanical and Electrical Works (including but not limited to; CCTV, communal TV aerials and satellite systems, non-warden call door entry, automatic door openers). Planned maintenance/replacements may be undertaken as discretionary works such as planned revenue and capital works. The service provider will be required to provide the works to the association 24 hours per day, 365 days per year (including all weekends and holiday periods). Prior to initiating the procurement Choice wish to establish the level of market interest in participating in the procurement process.

Choice Housing Ireland Limited wish to appoint a main contractor to undertake the new build construction of 20 no. new build CAT1 social housing units at Clonaver Drive, Belfast for the following mix of accommodation: • 14no 3 Person 2 Bed apartments • 2no 3 person 2 bed wheelchair apartments • 4no 2 person 1 bed apartments The scheme has been programmed to commence within the 2024/25 financial year and is included within the Social Housing Development Programme for this period. The competition will seek developments of up to 20 units from each potential Developer with the ability to award contracts to multiple Developers. Therefore the output of the competition may exceed 20 units depending on tender returns.
Choice Housing wishes to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to carry out MEI works at Corkey House, Belfast. The works are listed below and include various repairs to the Corkey House complex in Belfast and are detailed in the ITT documentation and associated Works Information and Site Information. Although there may be some minor variations from property-to-property, in general the scope of refurbishment/improvement works comprise but are not limited to: • Internal alteration works to form 2nr new ensuite bedrooms • The provision of new Choice specification bath/shower rooms (inc. new PVC clad walls and non-slip floor finishes), which will also comply (where possible) with the requirements of the DfC Design Guide • The provision of new communal fire doorsets to all floors. • The provision of new fire rated screens to internal communal areas. • Decoration of the internal communal areas. • Replacement of all suspended ceiling grid systems and tiles to communal areas. • Replacement of all floor finishes within communal areas. • The upgrade/renewal of existing insulation measures to the roof void to ensure compliance with current NI Building Regulations. • The provision of Fire Compartmentation and Fire Stopping to the existing roof void and communal areas. • Roof cleaning. • Eaves upgrade to include new eaves felt, fascia and soffits. • Dry verge installation. • Power washing of paths. • Boundary wall repairs and cleaning.
