Chesham Town Council is seeking to further improve their services to the people of Chesham and has recognised that its existing broadband, network, telephony infrastructure and IT facilities and support is no longer appropriate to the needs of a modern business, equivalent to a private sector SME. Given these broad requirements the Council have divided this ITT into two specific Lots. Lot 1: The council are seeking to contract with a supplier or suppliers of broadband, Wi-Fi and telecommunications solutions with experience of delivering high-quality, cost-effective services to public and/or private sector organisations with the ambition to provide excellent customer experiences. Lot 2: The council are seeking experienced IT companies to tender for the supply of new hardware/software, implementation, and training with an on-going monthly support service for a Cloud Based IT System. In addition to the supply of any necessary hardware and software the successful bidder will provide ongoing support to the council to ensure continuous effective and efficient services. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, (3 years) and is anticipated to commence on 1st August 2022. A Draft, specimen contract will be issued to those registering an interest in Lot 1 and/or Lot 2. Bois Moor Play Area is a small playground situated on Bois Moor Road and includes a fenced playpark. The playpark was damaged by a falling tree in 2022 and has largely remained closed since then. The new playground is to be built on the site of the existing park, and the grassed area behind. The work will consist of: • Detailed designs for the playground, including drawings and specifications; • Obtaining all necessary permissions, licences and approvals to undertake the work; • Installing the new play equipment; • Installing new surfacing; • Installing benches and bins; • Associated landscaping Design requirements Play equipment must include: • Multiple swing set, including a bucket swing. • Climbing frame • Tall slide • 2 x benches • 1 x bin Play equipment must: • Be durable (including at least a 25 year warranty on steel and 15 year warranty on all timber and other materials) with parts easily maintained and replaced. Particular attention should be given to the structure and mechanism of any swings; • Be challenging for the target age range of 4-11 year olds; • Be as accessible and inclusive as possible enabling children of all abilities to play alongside each other, incorporating sensory elements and considering recommendations of the Make Space for Girls campaign; • Give consideration to the Council's immediate neighbours to ensure that noise from users is not excessive; • Take into account trees and tree roots around the site, so as to not endanger the health of existing trees. • Include suitable safety surfacing where required. • Maximise use of the site. Construction requirements • A site survey should be undertaken prior to work commencing to ensure the suitability of the ground and identify any services; • The current planting on the site, including trees, must not be disturbed by any work, without the prior permission of the Council; • A maximum equipment height of 4m must be observed. • All surplus materials must be removed from site; • Materials should be locally-sourced where practicable; • Exact details, materials, quantities and measurements will be agreed with the appointed contractor following production of detailed designs. We are pleased to invite your company to submit a tender for the refurbishment and modernization of Chesham Moor Gym and Swim Centre, located at Chesham, Moor Rd, HP5 1SE. This project involves complete refurbishment of a detached single storey multipurpose building which will be retained while introducing internal reconfiguration of the gymnasium and construction of new changing rooms, upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and external façade improvements. There are two tender package options under consideration. However, we will confirm on 12th September 2024 which option will be pursued. Each option contains separate Bills of Quantities and Drawings. Set 1 includes separate Male & Female Changing Rooms, while Set 2 consolidates these into a single changing village. Lowndes Park is Chesham's flagship park, it is situated on the main road through Chesham and includes various different elements including a fenced playpark. The playpark was installed in 2009 and is now old and tired. The current playpark includes elements for the younger age group and so for the time being will remain in situ.
