CCC is seeking to procure contractors for the Specialist Countryside Contractors Framework. The requirement incorporates specialist mowing and vegetation clearance, excavator work, specialist plant, countryside labour (fence construction, installation of countryside furniture, vegetation clearance using hand tools etc).
This contract will provide 4 new RWS at individual locations on Carmarthenshire's highway network.
The contract will include a 5-year annual maintenance, calibration and support contract for the 4 new RWS sites and the 9 existing RWS sites with the option of a 2 year extension.
The contract will also include the provision of the bureau service and a hosted Winter Service manager system.

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to appoint a developer to deliver a residential scheme on an 8.4 acre Council-owned green-field site, two miles to the west of Carmarthen Town Centre. The site benefits from direct access to the new Carmarthen West Link Road, connecting the A40 at Traveller’s Rest to College Road. As part of this development, there will be a requirement for the developer to provide homes for the Council to acquire, at a minimum specification. 24 dwellings will be purchased by Carmarthenshire County Council on completion.
This Procurement is being undertaken in accordance with the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation pursuant to Regulation 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. As part of the Families First Programme, Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking organisations to provide services in relation to Parenting Support (conception to 19 years).
Families First is a Welsh Government programme designed to improve outcomes for children, young people (0-25y) and their families.

Carmarthenshire County Council requires contractors to provide sewage removal services, sewerage-related services and associated remedial works required for the delivery and operation of its Property Maintenance, Highways and Flood Defence assets. The requirements include:
- Prescribed and cyclical tankering service for sewage removal from treatment works, septic tanks and pumping stations, including emptying, desludging and cleaning of those assets

The Authorities are looking to engage a supplier to carry out all of the servicing and maintenance of certain equipment used as part of the delivery of each of the Council’s Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES), based at Dafen Ind Est, Llanelli and Honeyborough Ind Est, Neyland as a joint contract. Each ICES delivers equipment to clients within its own County boundary, which will aid the client.
The equipment may be delivered to an individual’s home or in a residential home setting. As certain equipment needs regular, specific inspection and servicing (in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and the HSE LOLER and PUWER legislation), the supplier will carry out this servicing either where it is being used or at one of the ICES’ respective equipment stores. The supplier will also attend to the breakdown of equipment where it takes place with the intention of resolving any problems and ensuring the equipment is fully functional again. It is expected that as breakdowns can occur at any time, the supplier must be able to respond to such events at any time of the day or night, any day of the year. This provision for out of hours support (i.e. outside of standard office hours) will also be required for Ceredigion County Equipment Service.
Carmarthenshire County Council (Lead Authority) on behalf of Ceredigion County Council, and Pembrokeshire County Council (‘the Councils’), wishes to appoint a supplier on a framework basis, for the supply of 7 Litre and 23 Litre plastic food waste caddy liners. to all three County Councils.
Carmarthenshire County Council is commissioning the Framework for the provision of cleaning services.
The tender involves providing additional cleaning capacity to support our existing supply of cleaning staff across the county.
The Wales Pension Partnership (“WPP”) was established in 2017. The WPP is a collaboration of the eight LGPS funds (“Constituent Authorities”)* covering the whole of Wales and is one of eight national LGPS pools.
The eight Constituent Authorities have an existing contract with Waystone Management (UK) Limited to provide regulated third party operator services for WPP. The current contract is due to expire in December 2024.
The contracting authority (Carmarthenshire County Council), on behalf of each of the Constituent Authorities, is conducting a procurement process to appoint a regulated third party operator for WPP’s ACS sub fund requirements following expiry of that existing contract.

The WPP is now looking to develop a range of Private Real Estate Sub-Funds which the Constituent Authorities (“CAs”) (Local Government Pension Funds) of Wales can use to obtain the private market exposure that they require to meet their locally decided strategic asset allocations.
The WPP wants to establish Sub-Funds which are based on individual asset classes, the WPP plans on establishing UK Real Estate, Global Real Estate, and Local / Impact Real Estate Sub-Funds.

The aim of the project is to provide better play opportunities for children/young people within vulnerable communities identified through the most recent Play Sufficiency Assessment as lacking play provision and to help reduce holiday hunger.
This will be done by delivering inclusive, bilingual open access play sessions in the community and engaging with families to create a positive family approach to play and providing healthy snacks during play sessions.
