Carmarthenshire County Council are looking to establish a framework to deliver its Period Dignity Programme to communities and schools across the region.
The Period Dignity programme aims to ensure there is a dignified way of accessing free of charge period products for those who menstruate within education and those from low-income households in Carmarthenshire local authority area in the most practical and dignified way possible.
The framework will cover the supply and distribution of period products for community and school settings. It will also cover a Period Dignity Home Pack service within secondary schools.
This procurement is subject to funding provided by the Welsh Government. Accordingly, there is a risk that the value of the grant may increase, decrease, or be withdrawn entirely on an annual basis. Any potential extension to the contract will be reviewed annually, subject to the continued availability of funding.

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Provider for Trauma Recovery Model Training, to be delivered to Children's Services social workers over a 3 year period.

Our needs range from small café areas with limited F&B provision to restaurants with extensive offerings, including self-service and order/pay from table via an app or web browser. Mobile selling capabilities via handheld tablet devices are essential for flexibility across our facilities. The system must be cloud-based with a multi-site, real-time back-office system for monitoring and analysis at both site-specific and collective levels, offering comprehensive financial and stock data reports.
We expect to utilise existing hardware where possible, provided it meets the necessary specifications. Therefore, we anticipate we will be seeking cost proposals for both software only and software with hardware.

This process will improve the quality of the technical elements of the brief and indicate a realistic value for the award. The exhibition aims to explore Pendine's fascinating history and natural environment. It will feature collections and archive material showcasing the area's unique geology, Ice Age Neanderthal activity, SSSI dunes habitat, and the extensive beach known for its significant events and visitors. It is proposed that visitors can also access through AV terminals social histories of curated digitised material from the collection and community. The gallery, measuring 54m², will include museum-grade showcases with lighting, interactive terminals, set works, AV, and seating for visitors. Additionally, the project will make modest accessibility adaptations to some existing land speed themed exhibition interactives. A new wind-assisted cycling exhibit, inspired by Guy Martin's land speed record, will also be designed and manufactured. Lastly, we are seeking proposals for enhancing the visitor arrival experience, from additional wayfinding and external signage to visual communication within the museum visitor reception and retail area, to help convert passers-by into customers.
