The purpose of this tender is to demonstrate CPI's capability in data analytics and Federated Learning by supplying an analytics-enabling data infrastructure for a plastics recycling rig (Lot 1), and a complete Federated Learning platform (Lot 2), initially orientated towards furnace applications which is deployable at different sites/locations. CPI require a professional facilities management Contractor to look after all Hard, Soft and Technical Facilities Management across CPI's estate. All PPM & Reactive Maintenance must be completed to the SFG20 standard, and or, OEM Guidance, and or applicable legislation in use at the time of this tender and or GMP Guidance. If the SFG20 standard, and or OEM Guidance, and or applicable legislation or GMP guidance changes during the term of this contract. The Contractor must make sure that the PPM & Reactive Maintenance is completed to the current SFG20, OEM Guidance and applicable legislation and GMP guidance. CPI currently have two sites which work to GMP standards, which includes cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments, and both have elements that must be maintained to a higher standard than SFG20 and OEM guidance. CPI have several enhanced PPM maintenance schedules which provide the expected maintenance levels, which will be shared with the Contractor or identified in the attached schedules. As well as the facilities management aspect of the contract, there will be from time to time the potential for some small projects to be identified. Small projects may include either purchases or work on systems used within CPI currently or changes and repairs to buildings fabric. CPI will require access to various trades as part of this Contract. These projects will be capped at £50,000. Therefore, any small project which falls out of this scope will not be included in this contract. The Contractor will also be required to work closely with CPI to implement and uphold CPI's Sustainability Strategy. The purchase of equipment or services linked to the Sustainability Strategy will not be included in the scope of this contract. Any equipment or services identified will be procured separately. The Service must be provided by fully qualified and experienced staff and all services must be conducted in line with any UK legislation and or operational documents and or external & internal process documents and or GMP Guidance. CPI currently several different sites, some are owned and managed by CPI, some are leased - part serviced and some are leased - fully serviced. CPI's sites are located in North East England and Glasgow.

CPI are looking to appoint a suitable contractor to pack, move and install equipment and facilities between two of the CPI's sites based in Sedgefield. There is also a possibility of a move of equipment to and from CPI's Durham Way South site in Newton Aycliffe. CPI are seeking a suitable contractor to install some pieces of equipment as detailed in (Appendix 3). Services (electrical, solvent extract, compressed air) will be supplied by CPI, although extension of these services are required to hook up the equipment.

CPI are looking to appoint a suitable contractor to supply and install a replacement humidifier unit on our Neville Hamlin Building (NHB)'s Air Handling Unit #4, which supplies air to the facility's Cleanroom 1. The current humidifier has developed a fault and attempts to repair this obsolete model have failed, prompting the decision to replace with a similar unit.

CPI are looking to appoint suitable organisations to supply new systems, service, maintain and calibrate in-place systems. These systems may include stationary alarms installed in critical technical areas, as well as portable or handheld devices designed for personal protection. CPI is committed to safeguarding the welfare of its employees across its sites and ensuring the efficiency of systems in both laboratory and plant facilities. Given the extensive use of gas cylinders and on-tap supplies of various gases, including hydrogen (H2), methane (CH4), oxygen (O2), and nitrogen (N2), it is essential to have suitable alarm systems for detecting leaks. Additionally, CPI employs flame detection systems, which are also included within the scope of this framework. The scope of this work is a significant upgrade and reconfiguration of the solvent vapour extraction system across two labs which share a common extract system. The labs are operational and contain an existing solvent extraction system and a dust extraction system. The work will involve reconfiguring and upgrading the solvent extraction within the labs and outside plant decks without impacting significantly on a pre-existing dust extraction system. CPI has two operational labs (Fallow 3 and 4) which share a solvent vapour extraction system, and each lab also contains two independent dust extraction systems (and associated make up air etc). The labs are first floor with an external plant deck. The labs and building are rented from Durham County Council.

CPI has installed equipment for the lab scale preparation of oligonucleotides at the MMIC site near Glasgow. To support this work a reliable and flexible supply of a set of reagents is required. This Tender will aim to supply CPI with reagents for the analysis of oligonucleotides by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS). The aim of this tender is to establish preferred and CPI approved suppliers of solvents suitable for oligonucleotide LCMS analysis in support of the lab scale development projects at the CPI MMIC site near Glasgow. This includes some solvents and reagents required for the analytical characterisation of oligonucleotides, the main requirement is analytical grade solvents and their packaging. In Oligonucleotide the packaging required for mobile phases (Water, Methanol and Acetonitrile) is either plastic or borosilicate glass to ensure adducts are avoided in the analysis.

CPI are looking to appoint a suitable organisation to conduct a comprehensive investigation aimed at optimizing its clean room facilities. The primary objective is to reduce operational costs associated with the current clean room spaces. This will be achieved by consolidating equipment into a single clean room. The new configuration should be designed to be sustainable, allowing for efficient resource use and minimal environmental impact. Additionally, the clean room must be scalable to accommodate future growth and technological advancements. These power inconsistencies have led to periodic shutdowns, which disrupt critical operations and pose risks to ongoing activities at the facility. To mitigate these power issues, CPI is seeking proposals for the various work packages to result in installation of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system along with a generator link for future installation. The primary objective is to ensure seamless power continuity, thereby preventing future brownouts and enabling uninterrupted operation during power fluctuations. This project has been split into several RFQ's and suitably qualified vendors are invited to quote for one or more tenders. The aims are to select qualified contractors to design, supply, and install the necessary infrastructure to support CPI's operational needs, aligning with their ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. CPI requires a suitable contractor to relocate the existing Bin Store, to supply and construct a new smaller bin store, approximately 4 meters by 3 meters, with a new concrete base and basic internal lighting. Groundworks required following the relocation of the existing Bin Store include excavating the existing concrete slab and casting a new, suitably thick base to support the new UPS GRP enclosure and its contents. The successful contractors will be required to deliver the necessary stages to ultimately provide a robust and efficient power solution, which will include integrating the UPS system and generator link into the existing electrical network.
