CPI have a need to refurbish an existing lab space known as F0.28, located within the Coxon building at Sedgefield. This refurbished space will be used to accommodate new and existing equipment focused on battery materials and general powder capabilities. To increase the available floor space CPI is looking to additionally install a mezzanine floor in this existing lab space. The majority of the work will take place in F0.28, however there will be some modification of dust extract requirements for an adjoining lab (F0.29).

CPI require the ongoing supply of reagents in the form of DCI, CSO and POS capable of meeting the specification set out in the document titled 2995-Specification.

Battery Materials Synthesis Equipment

This tender is for a GMP Suite Grade D Upgrade for GMP Manufacture, located at our 1 Union Square Facility in Darlington, Upgrading of the 1.18 technical lab and its personnel air lock 1.17 to a GMP grade D area and within 1 Union Square. Including fabric, HVAC, process gases (Compressed air), Pharmagraph Environmental Monitoring System and provision of a new Material Air lock. Process Equipment for cGMP Manufacture is outside the scope of the tender.

CPI have identified a need for the ability to measure water vapour permeability of barrier materials used in the packaging industry. These barrier materials maybe free standing, individual or complex multilayers of thin films of polymers, papers, coatings, or combinations of materials designed to control the passage water vapour under refrigerated and ambient conditions. The desire is to be able to be able to measure multiple samples in parallel.

The scope of this tender covers the provision of equipment and software for carrying out the precision dispensing of the materials mentioned in the overview for the purpose of developing and manufacturing sufficient IVD test devices for assay development, evidence generation and performance evaluation. Bidders are requested to set out the cost and specification of the base system which they recommend which meets our mandatory requirements and as many of the additional requirements as possible as listed within the provided User Requirements Brief (URB).

CPI wish to appoint a range of suppliers to support our ongoing automation needs. Automation and robotics are key enabling technologies within CPI, with this procurement exercise seeking to appoint a series of suppliers to a framework to support our laboratory automation requirements both current and future primarily for our National Formulation Center based at our Coxon Building facility, through the support of our existing robotic platforms with upgrades, maintenance and ongoing consumable supply and with the provision of new robotic platforms. The scope of supply for equipment purchases under this tender will include the supply and installation of equipment, with the option of commissioning the equipment if required. CPI requires a replacement chiller unit on the upper plant deck of The Neville Hamlin Building. The current Chilled water system has a Chilled water tank containing 30% Propyl alcohol and is circulated around the sites plant for cooling capacity. Cooling fluid temperature is set to 7 °C on supply to the plant. CPI have a requirement for the existing two chillers to be repaired, restoring capacity to OEM specification.

This tender is to establish the supply of reagents for the lab-scale process optimisation of oligonucleotide synthesis, which we have divided into the following lots: Lot 1 - Solutions of oligonucleotide synthesis reagents Lot 2 - Solid material (activators & thiolation reagents) and solvents Lot 3 - Solvents and reagents for analytical equipment

CPI require project management, quantity surveyor and clerk of works/NEC4 supervisor services for the new build of the Oligonucleotides Manufacturing and Innovation Centre of Excellence (OMICE) at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Soctland (AMIDS). Payment to project partners

The purpose of this tender is to extend CPI's capability in data analytics and machine learning by increasing the number of deployments of machine learning software, extending the capability to include support for Federated Learning and enabling access to expert engineering and training support. CPI are installing equipment for the pilot scale manufacturing of oligonucleotides at the MMIC site near Glasgow. To support this work a supply of the oligonucleotide synthesis reagent dichloroacetic acid (DCA), in solution in toluene, is required on a scale of several hundred litres. This tender will aim to supply CPI with this material for use at the MMIC site.

As part of the EconoMISER Project, CPI has requirement for full turnkey provider for the Design, Construction, Install, Commissioning, of a Multipurpose, Multifunctional Polymer Chemistry Pilot Plant and Design and Modification/Upgrade Works at CPI's facility located at Wilton Centre, Redcar, North East England to house the Multi Purpose Pilot Plant.
