The Costain Group PLC Highways' Team is hosting an in-person "Meet the Contractor" event to allow our Project Leaders and delivery team of industry-leading experts to showcase the proposed A12 Chelmsford to A120 Widening Scheme. This is scheduled to take place on the 8th of March between 09:00hrs - 12:30hrs. Please note that this event is being organised during the Examination Period of the ongoing Development Consent Order application (DCO). The outcome of the DCO application will be communicated in the first quarter of 2024 and, if granted, a Notice to Proceed to construction can be issued for work to commence on site. While the scheme is subject to the outcome of the DCO, it is nevertheless important that we provide a platform for prospective suppliers to become involved in the A12 project. "Meet the Contractor" will be an opportunity for the project team to meet prospective businesses and supply chain organisations interested in joining the A12 team to deliver this exciting and important regional highways improvement scheme. We would be delighted if you would join us to learn more about the A12 project's portfolio of procurement opportunities and how you can become an approved supplier or supply chain partner.
