We are seeking tenders from suitably experienced suppliers to maintain a number of CWGC plots in the following Cemeteries in the Midlands; - Contract 1. 3 plots located at Wolverhampton Borough (WV3 7AE), Worcester (Astwood) (WR3 8HA) and Birmingham (Yardley) (B25 8NA) Cemeteries - Contract 2. 3 plots located at Dudley Borough (DY1 2DA), Birmingham (Witton) (B6 7AE) and Birmingham (Lodge Hill) (B29 5AA) Cemeteries - Contract 3. 1 plot located at Pershore Cemetery (WR10 3BX) - Contract 4. 1 plot located at Byley (St John) Churchyard (CW10 9NG) Cemetery - Contract 5. 1 plot located at Wrexham Cemetery (LL13 7RE) - Contract 6. 2 plots located at Hawarden and Hawarden (St Deiniol) Cemeteries (CH5 3HB) The work has been split into 6 separate tenderers to encourage responses from SME's and VCO's. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of a Water Feature Maintenance Service Provider on the Canada Memorial, Green Park, London. The provider will be fully established and experienced in maintaining water features in the London area. Regular site visits will be required including; water tests and treatment to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, the full service requirements of a water feature, as per the O&M manual. Where required; Employment of specialist sub-contractors for servicing of equipment (Crowcon Gas Detection, Water Softener, PAT Testing). Remote access control of the system will need to be set up and configured. A web based dashboard (or similar) to view and control the operation of the system will be required. Since 1917 the CWGC has been responsible for maintaining the commemorations of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the World Wars. In the UK, there are over 343,000 casualties across over 13,000 sites. On going research continues to identify those who should be commemorated but have not been and as a result a new "Memorial to the Missing" will be built at Brookwood cemetery to honour those fallen who are already commemorated on the existing memorial and those who have not otherwise been commemorated. This tender is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified suppliers for the creation of a woodland landscape for the new memorial.
