both.
Overview of requirement:
The role of the Data Migration Engineer is to provide expert input to the ERP implementation team for a 12-month project, split in two distinct 6-month work packages.. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process. This role also includes managing data archival and supporting data cleansing and de-duplication efforts, while adhering to strict GMP standards and regulatory requirements. The work will contribute to CGTC's efforts to consolidate its data across the enterprise in preparation for the introduction of managed data services to all parts of the business. At present, CGTC is trialling Boomi integration hub as part of this process, and it expected that Boomi will be the platform for some of the migration work.
This is a fixed-term engagement to advise and help CGTC through the data migrations from legacy systems required to make the ERP project a success. The ERP project is split into phases, each of which has deliverables and milestones as laid out below and each of which constitutes a separate package of work to be carried out by the Data Migration Engineer.
The Data Migration Engineer is expected to operate independently and will not be subject to direct supervision or control by the client. The Data Migration Engineer may provide a suitably qualified substitute to carry out the services, subject to CGTC's reasonable approval, and is expected to determine how the work is carried out and be responsible for managing his/her own time and methods of delivery.
