1. Introduction and Background Cadent Gas operates a commercial vehicle fleet consisting of approximately 3000 vehicles, including small electric and diesel panel vans, large electric and diesel panel vans and 60 HGV's. A large portion of our large panel vans are fitted with PTO systems and all vehicles have racking installed. We are seeking a comprehensive and efficient accident management service to minimise disruption, control costs, and ensure compliance following any incidents involving our fleet vehicles. This tender invites suitably qualified and experienced accident management companies to submit proposals outlining their services and capabilities. 2. 1. Introduction: Cadent Gas Limited is a standalone Gas Distribution business that owns and operates four of the eight UK Gas Distribution Networks, covering the East of England (EoE) which includes both the East Midlands (EM) and East Anglia (EA), London (Lon), North West (NW) and the West Midlands (WM). Cadent is the largest Gas Distribution company in the UK with a revenue of circa £1,850m per annum. Cadent relishes the role of providing an essential service that keeps the energy flowing to over 11 million homes, schools and businesses through a 131,000-kilometre pipe network. To support the delivery of our Depot Improvement Programme as part of the RIIO3 price control period, Cadent Gas want to establish Property Professional Services Framework. Cadent is seeking feedback on its requirements for the following scope. This is a request for information/feedback and not part of a formal tender process. The formal tender process will be run once the market engagement stage is complete. 2. Proposed Scope of Requirements: Services such as feasibility studies, project management services, construction management services, advice for both pre-construction and construction phases, design and technical support. This will enable effective implementation of schemes for the delivery of quality solutions, additional services to include post-handover support, training, guarantee, certifications and advice. Further support in standalone consultancy services and civil engineering works that may arise, will be of a peripheral nature only to the main subject of this framework agreement. Projects under the awarded framework will be scoped on an individual basis and the framework contractors shall be appointed Principal Designer in line with CDM regulations. 3. Cadent provides a connections service to customers that request a new gas connection or a change to an existing gas connection. As part of this process Cadent carries out site surveys for any connection request that is received. Surveys are normally carried out in person by a surveyor. The number of surveys possible in a day are limited due to travel time. The Covid-19 pandemic accelerated customer's digital expectations to self-serve using digital functionality such as videos and photos, while at the same time providing opportunities for businesses to adopt technology that will deliver both customer and operational benefits. The HyNet North West Hydrogen Pipeline will be Cadent's first 100 per cent hydrogen pipeline. The pipeline forms part of the wider HyNet scheme, whose primary objective is to reduce the regional CO2 omissions. The pipeline will provide a hydrogen transportation network required to enable the UK's first fully integrated hydrogen supply system It is anticipated that there will be approximately 125km of underground HP steel pipeline and associated lower pressure spurs and Hydrogen Above Ground Installations (HAGI's). The pipeline is considered a National Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and shall be delivered in line with the, to be submitted (by others), Development Consent Order (DCO). The project will deliver Phase 2 of the hydrogen network and is designed to enable early adopters to receive hydrogen and interlinks with hydrogen production and storage facilities.
