Installation of delegate audio system Burnley Council Chamber
Burnley Council is looking to appoint a single provider to configure and install a replacement delegate audio system in the council chamber, Town Hall, Manchester Rd, Burnley. The requirement includes up to 56 delegate microphone/ speaker units, a PA system for the chamber, an induction loop/ assistive listening system for the hard of hearing, and the required operator training for the equipment. A separate 3-year maintenance contract should also be quoted for.
Options for the installation of a delegate voting system and display, and video cameras for streaming meetings are also requested.

Burnley Borough Council (the Contracting Authority) are inviting Tenders from organisations (Bidders) that have the resources, capabilities and capacity to undertake full house refurbishment works, to 1 Cobden Street, Padiham. Professional Services to Develop Designs for Public Realm / Environmental Enhancements in Burnley's Civic Quarter
Burnley Borough Council is seeking the services of a suitability qualified landscape architect to develop concept plans/designs for public spaces identified within Burnley's Civic Core where there is opportunity to implement landscaping and environmental enhancements.
The Consultant will be expected to undertake the following tasks:
• To undertake research into Burnley's culture and heritage to help inform designs.
• Consult with key stakeholders/partner organisations through workshops. Key partners will include Burnley Borough Council, Lancashire County Council, Burnley Business Improvement District, Burnley Civic Trust, Burnley Central Library, Central Methodist Church, Burnley Cultural Consortia, Burnley Leisure & Culture and Burnley College.
• Develop concept designs up to RIBA Stage 3 along with a written narrative/methodology to support proposals for the two areas that have been identified within the Civic Core, 1) Peace Garden, located at Burnley Central Library, and 2) area to the front of Burnley Central Methodist Church (see Appendix 1).
• To provide outline/estimate costings to implement the proposals.
