Tenders are invited from suitably qualified firms for the supply, delivery, database migration, installation, staff training and commissioning of an integrated leisure management and point of sale software solution for Liberty Leisure Limited.
Liberty Leisure Limited (LLL) runs 3 leisure centres including wet and dry facilities and a museum in Broxtowe, Nottingham. The current leisure management system installed since 2007 is Omnico, Clarity Live. LLL currently has 68 members of staff that require access to the system with up to 19 people required to be logged into the system at any one time.
It is anticipated that the implementation of the new system will improve the customer experience by providing online self-service portal facilitating joining, bookings, payment administration (including direct debit management), account management, and will permit access to these facilities using a range of devices including smartphones.
The Council is seeking to appoint a preferred supplier to construct New toilets including a Changing Places unit, accessible toilet and two unisex toilets. A summary of the works is detailed in the employer's requirements. The Supplier must ensure minimal disruption to the public whilst Works are carried out

Tenders are invited to receive and maintain at a Kennels, stray dogs temporarily in the care of the Council.
Sections 149 and 150 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Environmental Protection (Stray Dogs) Regulations 1992 set out the provisions and duties of local authorities for seizing and dealing with stray dogs.
Following seizure, the dog should be transferred to a reception centre as soon as is practicable, if no owner can be found immediately and the dog does not need veterinary treatment. The reception centre accepting the stray dogs should be licensed under the relevant legislation and comply with the relevant guidance in England12 and Wales13 as well as comply with the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
In 2021/22, 35 stray dogs were taken to the Council's current Stray dog reception centre.

Stapleford Town Deal Executive Board has instructed Broxtowe Borough Council (the Council) to appoint a Contractor to provide a final design and build a new cycle proficiency training track and a separate cycle path at Ilkeston Recreation Ground, Ilkeston Road, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 8JL and bids are invited from suitable contractors.
The requirement is the final design and build of:
Project A - a mini road network cycle proficiency training facility (the anticipated land available for this is 2650m2).
Project B - a LTN1/20 compliant cycle track around the recreation ground capable of integrating with a wider off and on road LTN 120 compliant network; The approximate length of this track is 610m-615m.
The scope is further detailed in Part 3 and supporting ITT documents. Interested parties are strongly urged to visit the site and ensure they do their due diligence on the requirements. This is a public space and no appointment is necessary.

The Council requires an organisation to conduct speed and connectivity analyses in the north of the Borough for both mobile and broadband coverage.
The research is to identify broadband and mobile signal/data speeds in the northern towns/villages in Broxtowe (Nottinghamshire) to give an overview of the situation in these areas.
This research will be required to focus on mobile signal and data in the town of Kimberley, where there are significant issues with mobile signal reported from residents. This part of the research must identify signal speeds, where any 'cold spots' of coverage are, and provide recommendations with cost estimates included to address these problems.
A particular focus of this study is to research the impact that connectivity issues may be having on the competitiveness and functions of local businesses and community groups in Kimberley. It will be necessary to include this as a key research question with comprehensive advice on solutions.
Timescale
The report must be completed by the end of the 2022/23 financial year (31 March 2023). It is expected that this work is conducted in an 8 - 10-week period. The expected contract award date is the 19th January 2023.

Broxtowe Borough Council requires one Service Provider to Supply and manage personnel to perform the role of Park Attendants for the Council.
This is a key contract, as the end user (the public), expect to be provided with clean and safe park and sports facilities, that in some cases they have paid in advance for. Reliability of supply of personnel is essential in this contract and failure to provide this will lead to a breach of contract. Efficient and effective performance of the contract requirements is paramount and non-performance will be actively managed.
The Service Provider will work effectively with the Council's other providers who provide services such Public Open Space Surveillance operators, relevant departments and parks maintenance operations.

Summer Attendants
The Service Provider is required to provide high profile fixed attendants (role 1) at two Council managed parks and recreation grounds (one attendant at each park/recreation ground).
The Service Provider is required to provide a high profile mobile attendant (role 2) and vehicle, to cover the parks and recreation grounds as detailed and to supervise as necessary, the two fixed sites.
Football Attendant
The Service Provider is required to provide high profile football attendants (role 3) at up to eight Council run parks and recreation grounds. The football season runs from the third Saturday in August until the first Sunday in May, unless otherwise agreed.
Additional Summer Attendant
In addition, it may sometimes be necessary to employ an additional attendant on the mobile route to cover a fixture..

Broxtowe Borough Council (the Council) is undertaking this procurement to establish a contract for the provision and management of Public Space Surveillance Monitoring Services.
Broxtowe Borough Council, Newark & Sherwood District Council and Ashfield District Council have amalgamated their Surveillance camera monitoring operations and this is currently located in the Arnold, Nottinghamshire, which is a share service accommodation for the delivery of surveillance camera monitoring. Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) are also considered part of the monitoring specification agreement for an initial three-year period (this may change throughout the duration of the contract), but require less surveillance camera monitoring hours and no other tasks such as the out of hours calls are required, just surveillance camera monitoring and associated governance.
The Surveillance Camera Partners are looking for a provider of surveillance camera monitoring Staff for a 24/7/365 cover.
The Service Provider will contract with Broxtowe Borough Council, who will be the lead authority in this contract. However, the Service Provider will take direction and instruction from a nominated Authorised Officers from any current or future Surveillance Camera Partners of the shared services partnership
There is currently a requirement for three full-time employee equivalents 'operational monitoring staff' will be required to work on a shift rota basis. In addition, the Monitoring Operators shall also handle other calls such as the Councils' out of hours' service calls (not RBC). For example: housing repairs, neighbourhood warden services and homelessness/rough sleepers for the Surveillance Camera Partners.
The Service Provider will be Security Industry Authority's (SIA) Approved Service Provider Scheme member and employ SIA licensed individuals (specifically licensed for Public Space Surveillance Monitoring).
Control room Monitoring Operators will be required to undergo Nottinghamshire Police Vetting to non-police personnel level 2 (NPPV2) before access to the Control Room is allowed.

Each of the participating Councils will award contracts separately and day-to-day transactions under the agreement will be conducted between the appointed Service Provider (Auditor) and the particular Council concerned. The Council requires a Service Provider (Auditor) to audit their Housing Benefit (HB) Subsidy Grant claims in England, commencing with the subsidy period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. (equivalent dates for any extension period), to meet the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) requirements to give the DWP assurance of a valid and true claim. The Service Provider will conduct testing of all Housing Benefit Assurance Procedure (HBAP) aspects of the audit.
