The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk is committed to ending homelessness, person by person. It is about to launch its new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, which outlines the steps that the Council (and its partners) should take to work towards this aim. The Council also intends to let a contract for an Early Intervention and Prevention Support Service that will support households (who may have children) at risk of homelessness predominantly (but not exclusively) from private rented accommodation and those living with family and friends who are at risk of homelessness. This support is intended to be short term and may assist people to access settled accommodation or (where appropriate) sustain their current accommodation. This should reduce the Council’s reliance on temporary accommodation and positively affect individuals’ wellbeing. The service should complement existing homelessness prevention services commissioned in the borough. The services will work across King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and will support people to access and maintain suitable, safe accommodation. The Council is open to creative ideas as to how the service(s) could be delivered and how you could bring any added value to these services. The tender has been split into two lots, one for a Intensive Homelessness Support Service and the other a Early Intervention and Prevention Support Service. Bids can be made for one or both lots.

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk (the Council) invites tenders from suitably qualified professional practice to undertake project management services in relation to a range of construction projects within the Borough. Lot 1 and Lot 2 are single supplier frameworks for Lot 1 and Lot 2 will be Project Manager (PM) and Quantity Surveying (QS) Services on a range of projects respectively. It is the intention that the framework agreement will be for an initial 2 years, with provision for an extension, or extensions, of up to two further years in total. The Council has been successful in obtaining government funding for a range of projects, some of which are set to be delivered through the Towns Fund Programme. Within this programme are 2 initial projects where PM & QS Services are required to support the delivery. The 2 projects have a differing range of complexity and value.

St George’s Guildhall in Kings Lynn is the largest surviving medieval Guildhall in the UK and the oldest theatrical space in the UK still in use, with performances occurring every century since the 1400s. The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, the National Trust and Norfolk Museums Service are working in partnership with the Town Deal Board to redevelop the site. Upon completion, it will be operated by the St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub CIO, a charitable organisation established with the objective of preserving and conserving the historic Guildhall. The client is seeking a main contractor with: •considerable experience/ expertise in carrying out works on historic/ listed buildings, e.g. conservation packages •theatre/ performing arts project experience advantageous •National Trust/ English Heritage project experience advantageous •experience managing construction logistics in constrained sites. The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk is inviting tenders for places on a Framework to provide aids and adaptation works for its Care & Repair service. We intend to have six Contractors on the framework, who will cover the West Norfolk area and must have the capability to carry out both internal and external works. We also intend to appoint six contractors as reserves.

The Council and Alive West Norfolk are conducting a Tender exercise inviting bidders to tender for a hosted leisure, arts and culture management system. With the intention of centralising the management of those systems at multiple sites across West Norfolk.

The Council intends to appoint an Architect Led Multi-Disciplined Team to lead a transformation project at the St George's Guildhall site in King's Lynn as part of the Towns Fund programme. The appointed team will be required to build on the existing RIBA Stage 1 work to take the St George's Guildhall Project from RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design) to RIBA Stage 7 (Use), providing reports and ensuring Client approval at every stage. There will be a break clause after RIBA Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination) when a decision will be taken by the Council on the final project scope. The Appointed Team will include: - Architect / Lead Designer / Interior Designer / Fire Engineer / Principal Designer (CDM);- Structural Engineer;- Mechanical and Electrical Engineer;- Theatre Consultant;- Independent Access Advisor.

Boston Borough Council, the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk and South Holland District Council each intend to let a contract for the supply of static guarding services at the Municipal Buildings in Boston, Kings Court in Kings Lynn, and at the Council Offices in Spalding respectively. At all three locations, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have moved their local Job Centre and back-office staff into the Council offices and the main purpose of the contracts will be to provide a Customer Care service to visitors to the DWP and Council teams.

The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk and Alive West Norfolk Intend to let a contract for the supply of fitness equipment with accompanying maintenance and servicing contracts across various leisure centres within the borough.

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk intends to let a contract for the supply of emergency accommodation security at Kingsway Pavilion, King’s Lynn. The residents of the accommodation will be former rough sleepers.

The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk is inviting tenders for Merchant Card transaction services. The tender is divided into two lots for transaction processing, and a separate lot for card terminal provision and support.

The Council intends to let a contract for the provision of an ‘In reach / Outreach’ Intensive Support Service to help end rough sleeping in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.
