The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Authority”) is prepared to receive tenders for TC003 - Interpretation Services which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed.
This procurement exercise is being run as an Open Invitation to Tender (ITT) and the Authority will appoint 2 Providers onto the Framework Agreement.
The development of an All Age Advocacy Hub which will provide independent advocacy service for Adults, Looked After Children and Child Protection children within the care of Bolton Local Authority to meet all the statutory requirements for independent advocacy under the Childrens Act 1989, the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 2007, for all types of need.
The Borough Council of Bolton ("the Authority") is prepared to receive tenders for TC026 - All Age Advocacy Services.
The development of an All Age Advocacy Hub which will provide independent advocacy service for Adults, Looked After Children and Child Protection children within the care of Bolton Local Authority to meet all the statutory requirements for independent advocacy under the Childrens Act 1989, the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 2007, for all types of need.
The term of the Contract will be for four (4) years with the option to extend for up to a further two (2) year period. It is intended for the Contract to commence on 1 April 2023.
The Authority currently insurers its liability and motor (fleet and non-fleet) risks with Zurich Municipal (note a new contract commenced 1st April 2022) and claims arising from this contract, with incident date after and including 1st April 2022 handled by Zurich Municipal in house team. From time to time the claims which arise will become litigated and the services of solicitors are required to manage and provide representation in connection with the litigation. It is this legal work which is the subject of this tender.
In connection with this tender the Authority is prepared to receive submissions for the provision of legal services, which will mainly include the defence of civil litigation and may also extend to include representation at inquests, tribunals, judicial reviews and varied legal advice. Litigation can arise from third parties and employees in relation to insurance claims and the litigation work involved will primarily involve civil claims brought against the Authority for alleged:
· negligence (common law)
· breach of statutory duty
· vehicle accidents
Mount Saint Joseph Catholic High School ("the School") is prepared to receive tenders for Removal of existing portacabin and the supply, delivery & installation of a fully refurbished modular building at Mount St Joseph High School which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed.
The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Authority”) is prepared to receive tenders for its Community Tobacco Control Service, which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed.
The Authority wish to commission a specialist community-based Tobacco Control Service that will help deliver on local tobacco priorities with a focus on providing intensive stop smoking support to reduce prevalence and harm within our community.
The term of the Contract will be for three (3) years.
