BlueLight Commercial (BLC) in conjunction with Police Forces and Fire and Rescue Services in England and Wales are looking to drive efficiencies by better use of their Contract Management data. We wish to invite the market to an engagement event to understand its capability to deliver a Contract Management solution compliant with the new Procurement Act 2023 that aids in the standardisation of data, supports the implementation of the procurement lifecycle and drives collaboration across Police and Fire Services.

Our aim is to identify solutions that can enhance productivity and efficiency in redaction tasks across all police forces in England and Wales. BlueLight Commercial (BLC) have published a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice and are working in collaboration with the Forensics Capability Network (FCN) to gather information in relation to the supply of Digital Forensics Software and Tools.
BLC are exploring a national approach to the supply of Digital Forensics Software and Tools that meets the evolving needs of police forces and agencies. BLC and FCN will conduct the Preliminary Market Engagement to ensure better understanding of the market, supplier appetite, capacity, and capability, as well as perceived risks and opportunities. The aim is to ensure all forces and agencies have access to the most effective, reliable, and innovative digital forensic solutions available in the market.
A request for information via a written response is being requested in the first instance and request this is returned by Friday 4th April at 11:00am
Face to face meetings will take place on either the 7th or 8th May, depending on the level of interest BLC reserve the right to only invite suppliers to these sessions who are currently in high demand or high risk areas. The session will provide an opportunity to expand on the information requested below.
