Biddulph Town Council takes pride in the maintenance of the Biddulph Burial Grounds. The sites play a significant part in the lives of residents and the wider community.
Maintenance responsibilities cover three sites:
1. the closed burial ground at St Lawrence's Church;
2. the Town Burial Ground behind the church site; and,
3. the new Woodhouse Burial Ground, which links via a wooded area known locally as the Bateman Walk.
In addition, Biddulph Town Council is responsible for a piece of land on Springfield Road, approximately 4,440 SqM.
Biddulph Town Council is seeking an appropriately qualified individual or company to complete regular grass cutting and management on this site.
For clarity, three burial sites are within the same vicinity. The Springfield Road site is within the town, but 1.5miles away (approx.)
Biddulph Town Council takes pride in the decoration of the town during the festive period. The Town Council owns a large amount of festoon lighting (covering the length of the town), and hosts an afternoon/ early evening celebration each November for the annual switching on of the town's festive lights, to mark the start of the festive season in the town.
Biddulph Town Council is seeking a professional and qualified organisation to deliver an exceptional value for money service to tender for the storage, testing, installation and support of the Christmas lights event.
Please provide a written tender submission by email to the Chief Officer of Biddulph Town Council by Monday 13 November 2023, 5pm. This should be emailed to:
