Belfast City Council invites expressions of interest ‘EOIs’ from suitably qualified and experienced providers ‘Bidders’ for the provision of a campsite for the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann event in Belfast City in August 2026.
Bidders are asked to email their EOI to cps@belfastcity.gov.uk no later than Friday 28th November 2025.
Upon receipt of your EOI, Bidders will be issued a Project Brief document setting out the requirement in more detail and will be asked to re-confirm that they are still interested in participating in the procurement exercise following consideration of the Project Brief.

This Contract is for the Supply and delivery of high-quality bedding plants, bedding bulbs and Maintenance, removal and emptying of floral displays service across a number of Council locations ‘the Premises’ under the following Lots:
Lot 1 – Supply and delivery of high-quality bedding plants
Lot 2 – Maintenance, removal and emptying of floral displays service

Lot 1 Goods - will provide the supply and delivery of High-Quality Summer and Winter Bedding Plants. Belfast City Council has a number of parks and open spaces in which high quality floral bedding schemes are provided .
Lot 2 Services - will provide maintenance, removal and emptying of floral displays service. Belfast City Council’s City & Neighbourhood Services Department supports the “Belfast in Bloom” initiative by providing hanging baskets, flower towers, and planters across the city during the summer season. To maintain these displays to a high standard, the Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out maintenance and end-of-season removal. All floral containers remain the property of the Council.
Lot 3 Goods – will provide the supply, delivery and off-loading of good quality forcing and bedding bulbs to be delivered to 4 park sites during fixed dates in the months of September and October throughout the contract duration.
Belfast City Council requires an organisation, or collective of organisations or individuals to work with the Council to promote and operate the visitor centre, including operation of walking tours of Belfast’s City Cemetery.
The PEACEPLUS Community Connections project aims to support the integration and inclusion of people from minority ethnic backgrounds to grow their representation and voices within the city as well as developing familiarity and links with other communities.

The Council wishes to appoint an authorised Contractor to transport waste from Belfast City Council's Recycling Centre’s, Civic amenity sites, Parks and Cleansing sites, Duncrue Complex, the Zoo and other Council premises as required to the Councils Waste Transfer Station or onward to other contractors for further treatment.

The Local Authorities in Northern Ireland have developed a new enterprise support service
‘ESS’ which aims to put in place a more ambitious approach to the delivery of start-up and
growth support which seeks to revamp the current offer and increase the number, survival
and growth rates of new businesses across the region. The service aims to provide a set of
connected ESS where individuals, entrepreneurs or businesses can access a continuum of
support to meet their needs, aligned with the relevant stage of their business.
Given the varying needs of the individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses that will likely
engage with this service across the business lifecycle, the Local Authorities have identified a
need to put in place a framework which will:
• Be proactive and flexible to address market needs.
• Incentivise market development activity.
• Provide a core programme of service delivery across the region.
- Provide access to specialists in certain sectors / target groups.
• Be flexible in responding to future variability in demand and funding.
• Provide quality services that meet user needs; and
