NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Boards (BSW ICB) are seeking market engagement with suitably qualified and experienced providers to understand the level of interest in this service and understand the opportunities and barriers in the provision of care within the BSW locality, to assist Commissioners in developing their commissioning approach and service specifications for their Sensory Checks service in Special Educational Settings (SES) for sight testing and ear checks across BSWs locality. BSW ICB invites expressions of interest from providers who have the capability and capacity to deliver Sensory Checks in Special Educational Settings, in line with the specified requirements. Providers wishing to take part in the market engagement must express an interest within the e-procurement system where providers will be given access to a draft specifications and registration questionnaire. Completed registration questionnaires (available via the portal) should be submitted no later than 4pm Friday, 31st October 2025 via the Microsoft Forms link within the e-procurement system in order to receive an invite to the event. The market engagement event will be held virtually on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 at 1pm until 3pm via Microsoft Teams. Further details will be provided to those who express an interest in due course. NHS Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon & Wiltshire Integrated Care Board ("BSW ICB"); Bath and North East Somerset Council; Swindon Borough Council & Wiltshire Council (the "Local Authorities") are responsible for commissioning Health & Care Services including Public Health Services within their localities. References below to the "Commissioners" are to BSW ICB & the Local Authorities collectively Services are currently purchased from providers including primary care and community & private providers, acute trusts, VCSEs or are delivered in-house at the Local Authority. The Commissioners consider that: • Everyone in Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon & Wiltshire ("BSW") should be able to experience a personalised care approach • Every community in BSW should be able to access the best possible health and care services within their community with the aim of a healthier community with reduced health inequalities • BSW should have joined up, local multidisciplinary teams designed for and based in local communities • BSW should have local specialist services closer to and where people live • BSW should have a network of specialist centres focused on specialist care and less on routine services for the communities of BSW Commissioners are exploring their options on how to re-commission both Adult and Children's Community Services across their respective localities from 1 April 2024. Each Locality will make their own decision about the final model and procurement date, and these will be shared at the appropriate time The scope, value, process(es) and contract model(s) of the services to be implemented are yet to be determined, however, it is expected that each Locality (Banes, Swindon & Wiltshire) will be commissioning separately, and may include Adult community services, Children's community services, or both In line with the BSW Care Model, Commissioners are considering the needs of the population throughout all life stages and especially within the following three groupings: • Starting Well o This area is seeking to provide children, young people, and families with support and care in the community, including Public Health Nursing, physical and emotional wellbeing, Community health & targeted support • Living/Ageing Well o Supporting self-care and prevention, proactive care and support, responding to urgent needs, rehabilitation and recovery from ill health and/or crisis • Dying Well o Palliative and end of life care in all settings, bereavement support This PIN is not a formal call for competition and does not signal the launch of any formal procurement process but is being issued by the Commissioner as they are seeking to engage with suitably qualified providers to help inform and shape the next steps of this commissioning process. The Commissioners aims are: • Engaging with providers • Understanding the interest there might be in providing such services from suitably qualified providers • Informing the commissioning process • Gathering information from stakeholders that may be used to shape a commissioning / procurement process and the associated documentation Suitably qualified providers are asked to register their interest by email to scwcsu.whprocurement@nhs.net ("Expression of Interest"). The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering this service. Commissioners intend to hold a market engagement event with potential bidders to provide information on the service within BSW and to assist commissioners with shaping their procurement strategy and service specification. This is not a call for competition. NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board is seeking to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Individual Placement Support in line with the specified requirements. The service will provide intensive, individual support aiming to help people with a Severe Mental illness (SMI) to gain and retain paid competitive employment with the implementation of the evidenced based IPS employment approach. The service will be for people aged 18+ with an SMI open to secondary mental health care and also only Primary Care. The geography covered is Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The anticipated annual contract value is £710,995 per annum with additional £442,000 Service Development Fund to expand current service delivery into primary care, in line with national requirements There will be no additional investment. The Postvention service provides suicide bereavement support for individuals close to, or that were in contact with the person who took their life, offering individual personalised support sessions (psychosocial/emotional support and practical support). NHS Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board ("BSW") is seeking to secure a prime provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Postvention Services, in line with the specified requirements in the long description. The contract duration is for an interim period of 7 months whilst BSW ICB undertake a full competitive process under PSR to appoint a suitably qualified provider for a longer-term provision.
