Brunelcare wishes to invite Tender Responses for the supply of services and works in respect of electrical and life safety maintenance. The Supplier shall be responsible for all Planned Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance of electrical and life safety systems located within properties owned, leased, or tenanted by Brunelcare. A professionally managed service is to be provided for both Planned and Reactive Maintenance activities. The Supplier shall ensure the availability of qualified on-call personnel to respond to maintenance issues and system failures twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the entire calendar year, including public holidays. Brunelcare is a Bristol-based charity providing high-quality housing, care and support for later living in the South West. Brunelcare is undertaking an Open Procedure to select a suitable Supplier to deliver the Electrical and Life Safety Maintenance Contract to commence on 1st April 2026 (five (5) year contract term). The Supplier will be expected to provide services as per the Specification to any Brunelcare asset as required. As and when assets are obtained or disposed of, the Supplier will be notified. Within the Pricing Schedule of this tender, the Contracting Authority has stated a number of assets/properties that the Supplier will be expected to deliver services to - if this list of assets/properties needs to be modified throughout the contract term, this will be considered a "materialisation of a known risk". The Client wishes to select a contractor (“the Contractor”) to supply and install replacement fire doors (“the Works”) as outlined in the Contract Documents, Appendix 2. The Contract Documents include the Specification containing a description of the Works being procured. The scope of works comprises the planned replacement of 70 no. FD30S fire doors within Brunelcare’s Robinson House Care Home, and in accordance with requirements identified through recent Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) surveys or as identified by Brunelcare. The Contractor shall develop and implement a delivery programme in full coordination with Brunelcare, ensuring that all works are executed efficiently, with minimal disruption to residents and ongoing operations. The scope of work excludes all routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of existing fire doors that are not scheduled for replacement under this programme.

Our sheltered housing schemes accommodate vulnerable residents who require timely and compassionate assistance outside standard office hours (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm). Scope of Services: The Contractor will deliver an Out of Hours Service that ensures urgent housing and repair-related support during evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The service will include but is not limited to: Emergency repairs and safety-related incidents; Welfare checks and safeguarding alerts; Assistance with access issues, lockouts, and urgent housing matters; Escalation and handover to daytime operational teams. Service Hours: Weekdays: 4.30 PM - 8.30 AM; Weekends: Friday 4.30 PM - Monday 8.30 AM; Public holidays: Full coverage Key Requirements: Staffed telephone line and/or digital triage system; Escalation to emergency services, on-call staff, or family contacts; Response within agreed SLAs; Accurate call logging and daily reporting; GDPR-compliant data handling and secure software; KPI reporting and performance monitoring.
