The town council is seeking a cleaning services contractor to provide quality and best value cleaning services across the 5 sites, to include routine and periodic internal cleaning. Potential suppliers are invited to visit the sites accompanied by the sites manager who can answer any questions. The Town Council is looking to provide Bradley Stoke with free to access outdoor gym equipment fixed into a permanent setting. Specification for the project is Gym equipment is to be installed inside a 50M marked running track made of coni/flexipave with trench edging and interior equipment consisting of: • Calisthenics combi workout with equipment for pull ups, vertical pole, parallel bars, overhead ladder and exercise bench with more if possible. • Magnetic Kettle Bells • Suspension Trainer • Step ups • Exercise bike • Hand/arm bike Scoring Matrix Description: - With scales marked 0 or 1. These are treated as a yes or no answer meaning its it either included within the design or it isn't. - Guarantee scale marked 0 to 4. This is dependent on the length of the guarantee and what is covered within the guarantee itself. For example, 0 would be given for guarantee that lasted only a short time or the guarantee could be for 25 years but does not cover any realistic occurrences. 4 would be given to competitor that gives a long guarantee to its product covering realistic issues that may arise. - Materials Durability marked 0 to 4. The council are looking for materials that have long jeopardy but also an appealing finish. Materials such as untreated wood will be classed under 0 as it is open to weather changes and potentially vandalism. Materials that have a high probability of withstanding harsh weather and vandalism would be more favourable especially if finished attractively. - Cost marked 0 to 4. Cost is in important part of the project with strict budgets to adhere to. The quotes providing good products at high cost may score low at this point however we have kept it at the same scale as the Guarantee and Materials Durability to show it is of the same importance. The successful tender will be subject to initial trial period of six months from the date of commencement of the contract. If the successful tender does not pass the initial trial period, they must remain in place until a new contractor is appointed. Tenders must have a minimum of £5,000,000 public liability cover and any and all relevant insurance policies in place. All chemicals and equipment are supplied by the successful tender and the council provides hand towels, hand soap, toilets rolls etc.
