Avon Fire Authority (‘The Authority’) has identified a need for an Integrated Waste and Recycling Collection and Disposal Contractor for all Avon Fire and Rescue Service (AFRS) Sites and is looking to award a contract for these services in accordance with our Financial Regulations and Contract Procedure Rules.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) is an Emergency Service that covers Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Our Headquarters is currently situated in the Police & Fire Headquarters, Portishead. AF&RS have a total of 21 Fire Stations of which 7 are Wholetime stations, 3 are Whole-time and On-Call; and the remaining 11 are On-Call stations.
AF&RS are looking to procure a provision for packed lunches and buffet lunches that delivers to all AF&RS’ sites and some external training sites (mostly within the Avon area) on both weekdays and weekends.
AF&RS current estimated annual requirement is 5500 standard lunches, which required approximately 400 deliveries across the AF&RS estate per annum.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) is an Emergency Public Service that covers Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. There is a mixture of wholetime (24/7 crewed), day-crewed and on-call fire stations, administrative centres & Fire Service Control.
AF&RS are looking to procure a provision of internal audit services to support the effective management and governance of functions of The Authority.
AF&RS current estimated annual requirement is approximately 80 working days.
Avon Fire Authority is inviting quotations for the provision of Gas Monitoring Equipment, replacement parts for the monitors (the list of which will not be exhaustive) and maintenance other than that which can be carried out by our in-house technicians.
This will be in the form of 75 gas monitors, divided into 55 x four or five gas monitors with the capacity to detect Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Flammable gas calibrated against Methane (CH4) LEL and Oxygen (O2), and 20 x four or five gas monitors with the capacity to detect Ammonia (NH3), Chlorine (CL2), Flammable gas calibrated against Methane (CH4) LEL and Oxygen (O2) for our hazmat officers plus calibration equipment for all monitors.
