The Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust are looking to procure building work including the design and construction of a new plantroom/pump house and design and installation of a car park fire suppression sprinkler system to the under-croft car park of its Catkin Centre and Sunflower House building. The Catkin & Sunflower is the Trust's new Children and Young Persons mental health hub. The building has an outpatients facility that operates Monday - Friday and a 12 bedroom in patient unit that operates on a 24-7 basis. On completion of the building the local fire and rescue service made a recommendation to install a sprinkler system to its new car park. Although the building has recently been completed this will be treated as a retrospective installation. The contractor is responsible for the full development of the proposals included within this pack including the appointment of any of the specialists listed in the pricing document to complete the design of the full system including the pump house and any further work required to complete the installation. The car park will remain temporarily closed until the installation is completed but Contractors must factor into the design and planning of the works that the building will always remain operational during the installation. Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust as the Contracting Authority intends to let a National Professional Services Framework with a maximum duration of four years, which may be used by public sector bodies / 'Contracting Authorities' as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Framework is designed to align with the ambitions of the Construction Playbook, and to help the public sector deliver on the Government's ambition to 'build back better' bringing together commercial best practice and reform to drive better, faster, greener delivery. Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a provider for the Provision of a Primary Care Streaming within a Paediatric Urgent Treatment Centre. <br/><br/>Alder Hey Emergency Department (ED) provides accident and emergency care to the paediatric population of Liverpool. The department receives 70,000 attends per annum, demand which is increasing year on year. Some of these attends are patients with minor illnesses or injuries that are streamed to a co-located Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). Within the UTC there is capacity to see minor injuries, provided by the Trust, and minor illness provided by a sub-contracted provider. Currently 25-30% of attends are suitable to be seen within this facility. <br/><br/>The initial contract term will be 1 year, with an option to extend for a further 4 years at the sole discretion of the Authority. <br/><br/>It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 01/11/2024.<br/><br/><br/>This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice .
