1.2.2 ACE wishes to engage a single contractor to supply an communications, security & VoIP Service and associated project implementation and training services across all sites within the Trust.

The contract will be for the provision of supply agency services for all schools belonging to the Trust. The Trust is looking to appoint the three highest scoring Providers who will become part of the Trust's preferred Provider List. This will enable each school to select any Provider from the list in order to book suitable cover for the role(s) required. The Trust will not guarantee any level of supply for each individual Provider on the list and the schools will have the freedom to select whichever Provider they choose to use from this preferred Providers list. It is the Trust's expectation that the Provider shall be responsible for the operation of the supply agency function including: a. Availability of agency workers that have the required levels of competence and experience to cover the booking requests. b. Best Value for money. c. Comprehensive management information and reporting. d. High levels of school satisfaction. e. Consistently high-performance levels which meet or exceed KPI requirements. f. Consolidated invoicing weekly/ monthly as required. g. Expert advice on any legislative requirements related to Agency Workers. The provision of supply agency services is to be delivered at all 20 schools under the Trust.

The contract is for a food supply provision that will provide high quality and fresh, local ingredients and food stuffs for the school catering provision in accordance with the service specification and the associated tender documents. The Trust was looking for suppliers that can provide locally sourced, fresh, high quality and value for money products to enable school catering teams to create fresh and healthy school meals for pupils and staff. The Tenderer is required to work in partnership with the Trust, offering clear lines of communication and ensuring cohesion with the roles and responsibilities as identified in Document 2. Specification of Requirement.

The proposed contract will encompass delivering the following services to the Trust: a. Statutory compliance maintenance and planned preventative maintenance to all mechanical & plant equipment listed in Document 8. Asset Lists. b. Reactive maintenance in accordance with the approval process laid out in Document 2. Specification of Requirement. c. Provision of technical support and management of all specialist contracts and subcontracts as part of this Contract. d. Provision of 24-hour operations support.

ACE wishes to engage a single contractor to supply an ICT Managed Service and associated project implementation and training services across all sites within the Trust. This procurement involves the delivery of ICT across all the schools as part of a joined up programme of work, whilst at the same time being able to be flexible to deal with ad-hoc purchases and small projects that individual schools may need from time to time – all to a set of standards. At the same time a high quality managed service needs to be consistently delivered.
