NHS BLMK Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) invited suitably qualified service providers to submit tenders for the provision of Termination of Pregnancy Services in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. The service will provide the following for the population of BLMK: • Offer face to face appointments for all young people aged 18 and under. • Offer telemedicine and face to face appointments for Service Users as clinically appropriate. • Advice for unwanted pregnancy and referral for termination of pregnancy. • Pre-and post-termination support and advice and contraception planning and implementation posttermination. • Active Health promotion/prevention campaigns on Sexual Health. • Ensuring that contraception advice, support and provision is available as part of all termination of pregnancy service care pathways. • Reducing unintended and unwanted conceptions and repeat terminations of pregnancy in all ages by improving access to long acting reversible contraception. • To improve the sexual health of service users through proactively signposting to local sexual health services for screening and treatment as appropriate for Chlamydia, other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV. • To improve the sexual health of service users through proactively offering sexual health screening and treatment as appropriate for Chlamydia and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) • To provide information and advice on all methods of contraception,(with particular emphasis on the promotion of LARC) and the offer of the full range of reversible contraceptive methods. Where the supply of contraception is not appropriate, the service user should be signposted to local contraceptive and sexual health services. Additional information: The contract term is 33 months (01st July 2022 to 31st March 2025) with an option to extend for a further 24 months subject to performance and stakeholder agreement (Maximum 57 month contract). The maximum contract value for the contract is £6,539,640. L&L Consultancy have been chosen to support the development of a fully embedded quality reporting structure and process for the Quality Committee that can be translated into the System Quality Group and support a flow of intelligence from "Place to Board". Copying includes hard and digital formats from both print and online sources. As a result of the evaluation undertaken in accordance with the Direct Award Framework Guidance and Rules, Optum Health Solutions (UK) Limited - has been directly awarded as the Preferred Bidder for provision of a Prescribing Decision Support Tool NHS SBS Medicines Optimisation Prescribing Decisions Support Systems 3 Framework - Lot 1 SBS10252. - The scope of this service includes support to increase patient safety, clinical effectiveness of prescribing, and enabling the delivery of medicine optimisation with a prescribing decision support system across MSE Primary Care. The contract commences 01st September 2025 and expires 31st August 2027 with an option to extend for a further 12 months. The aggregate contract value awarded is £1,000,853.21 Inc VAT and £834,044.34 Exc VAT (£278,014.78 per annum Exc VAT and £333,617.73 Inc VAT). The Contracting Authority (NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board) (herein referred to as 'the Authority') has awarded a Call-Off Contract for provision of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention Support to Prescribing Services Ltd for NHS CVD Protect (Eclipse) (which is a medical software package / patient database tool that provides CVD population level analysis, prioritisation, implementation and validation), in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, via a compliant Call-Off under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) G-Cloud 14 Framework Agreement (RM1557.14), Lot 2: Cloud software. As a result of the call off process undertaken, Prescribing Services Ltd was selected as Preferred Bidder. The NHS CVD Protect (Eclipse) (provision is to support primary care in utilising existing data tools and platforms to deliver an upscaled approach to CVP prevention to aid delivery of QOF and will also focus on Hypertension but promotes a holistic approach to long term conditions by taking the opportunity to support those conditions closely linked to blood pressure. This will initially include those with unmanaged high cholesterol but in the future could be extended to support Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease. The contract commenced 29th September 2025 for 18 months, expiring 31st March 2027 with no further options to extend. The total annual value of this Call-Off Contract is Year 1 £80,260 and year 2 £39,360 (including VAT). The aggregate contract value is £119,620 (excluding VAT) and £143,544.00 (including VAT).
