Temperature rise Class F (NEMA classification) or equivalent
Thermal sensor One in each stator winding plus spare in each winding
Standstill heating Electrical/Water
The generator shall be equipped with:
Automatic Voltage Regulator, fuel oil tank with alarm, anti-condensation heater, and sensors for
vibration analysis monitoring that shall be integrated into the vessel's Condition Monitoring
system.
Local sensors: Lube oil pressure and temperature, fuel oil pressure, cooling water pressure and
temperature, battery status, and header tank level.
One (1) pcs bilge/oily water separator 15 ppm according to the requirement, as a minimum, shall
be fitted for treatment of bilge water with discharge overboard/sludge oil tank. All necessary pumps
and automation shall be included to take suction from the Bilge Water Tank. The system must be
of good design, simple to operate with minimal number of valves.
One (1) pcs sewage water treatment system, including tank and macerator vacuum pumps, shall
be installed for a maximum load of 26 pax.
Black and Grey Water collection shall have separate vacuum systems.
The Grey Water shall be collected through a venturi and collection tank, with two vacuum
centrifugal pumps and two macerator discharge pumps. Drains from the laundry and galley shall
be via gravity drain direct to the grey water collection tank. A grease trap shall be provided for all
galley drains and shall be arranged for ease of emptying.
The Grey Water discharge shall go to either the last 'Chlorine stage' of the sewage plant or to the
Sewage holding tank and have the option of being diverted directly overboard.
Cathodic Protection
External Cathodic Protection.
To protect the ship against local galvanic corrosion, an impressed current system shall be installed.
In case of failure, it shall be possible to repair the system without dry docking.
Anodes shall be placed on and around the azimuth thrusters, side thrusters and in the sea chests
as per the equipment supplier's recommendations.
Vessel Anode-plan shall be worked out and supplied to the Buyer in drawing form. All sacrificial
anodes shall be suitable for 5 years' protection in line with the coating protection.
Internal Cathodic Protection
Anti-fouling system shall be installed in the sea chests depending on supplier and Buyer's approval.
See section 0745.
