This is a requirement for the provision of an out of hours telephone service for Aster Group Ltd. The function of the Aster Contact Centre and service hubs is to handle customer information regarding property repairs and distribute the work to the appropriate in-house trade operative and/or external contractors, within working hours which is Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00. Therefore, outside these working hours, including bank holidays, technical downtime, team meetings and collaborative calls, customers wishing to contact Aster regarding emergencies will be routed to the out of hours provider.
The purpose of this Framework Agreement is to establish robust working partnerships with Employers Agent, Clerk of Works and Principal Designer consultants, to enable the successful delivery of Aster's development programme over the next four years. This procurement is for the supply of network infrastructure services. Claranet has been Aster’s network infrastructure partner for over 10 years. Aster currently procures network infrastructure services that include the design, delivery, and ongoing management of its core networking environment from Claranet. This encompasses:
-MPLS Network – A secure, high-performance network for connecting multiple sites.
-Data Centre Breakout – Connectivity solutions for data centre operations.
-Cloud Connect Services – Direct, reliable connections to cloud platforms.
-CoLocation Environments – Hosting and managing critical infrastructure in secure facilities.
-Network Equipment and Circuits – Fully managed hardware and connectivity assets.

Project: The refurbishment of the flat garage roof
NB: All roofing work to be carried out by an accredited contractor
Erect tubular steel scaffolding with required lifts to such elevations, including suitable access for removing the shared chimney and dismantle on completion. All scaffolding to be measured against the face of the building and to include the lift heights for a specific work type and trade.
Allow for removal of existing roof coverings, leaving the plastic fascia
Remove existing felt and roof decking, safely lower to ground level and remove from site.
Check purlins and report findings to Aster surveyor for agreed repairs. Carry out repairs
Allow for the supply and install new firring pieces
Allow to supply and install new decking
Allow for supplying and installing new Iko Challenger Sanded Underlay
Supply and fix new Iko Goldseal capsheet. Ensuring that it is fully bonded with a 5 – 15mm bead from all sides including end laps
Allow to clean existing fascia
The contractor is to leave the properties and surrounding areas etc clean and clear to original condition. Wash down windows, doors, and existing/new PVCu Fascia's/soffits on completion to remove dirt & debris caused by roofing works.
Project: The refurbishment of the main roof
NB: All roofing work to be carried out by an NFRC and Garland accredited contractor & must be able to self-certify via the competent roofing scheme or Principal contractor to arrange and pay for a Building Control inspection.
As part of contractor pre-survey, contractor should identity and protect any soil vent pipes and internals gutters. It is the contractors responsibility to identify any dilapidations of the block façade and the surrounding area (e.g broken curbs, bollards and existing cut up grass)

Remove existing roof covering and safely lower to ground level and remove from site. Contractor to ensure the internal gutters are protected when removing roof covering.
Install new roof (and associated works) as per Garland technical specification document dated 25/09/25
