AHDB requires the specialist services of a social media agency to continue to deliver the ‘always on’ social media activity for AHDB’s We Eat Balanced campaign, helping us achieve our goals, whilst ensuring the best return on our levy payers’ money. We are looking for a supplier with experience of running large social campaigns that focus on positively influencing consumer attitudes. We Eat Balanced is AHDB’s flagship consumer marketing campaign, launched as a pilot in January 2021. The We Eat Balanced social media channels were initially launched to host advertising content for this pilot, but due to the successful results, ‘always on’ social media activity has since been activated, as well as further large TV-led advertising campaign bursts. AHDB does have an in-house social media team, however they currently do not have enough capacity to support this workstream in full, hence it has so far been outsourced, but it may be brought back in-house in future. As this is a new market for AHDB, we require the agency to work closely alongside us to assist with development and implementation around clear KPIs performance responsibilities, reporting and digital support. As the contract progresses, the recommended KPIs and measures will be monitored to assess the effectiveness, these will form part of the contractual agreement and will be reviewed and possibly updated every six months depending on outcomes. AHDB are looking to appoint an English/Spanish speaking Marketing partner to help us to: • Maximise and track engagement with AHDB’s core target audience social media • Encourage this target audience to make contact with AHDB for information and track their interaction with us on social media • Increase and track participation to our events • Reach out to the traditional trade media by releasing interesting and up to date Press Releases on our events, British Farming News and products. AHDB is made up of four individual sectors and a cross sector for shared responsibilities under the one AHDB central organisation, these. These sectors run separate budgets and accounts. All activities are detailed, recorded and invoiced by purchase orders from each sector. We are a publisher of a wide spectrum of technical, research and marketing resources. The publications and marketing materials are delivered to the warehouse facility either directly from source or via AHDB, entered into inventory and stored. All goods arriving will be clearly labelled with SKU, description of contents, number of boxes and quantity per box. These are then available on a call off basis to AHDB levy payers, requests for publications are made to the Bureau team at AHDB and in some cases directly to the warehouse. The requests from AHDB are then forwarded to the warehouse facility via a portal ordering system for fulfilment and despatch to the requesting end user. The warehouse also assembles marketing, promotional and educational kits, to meet AHDB requirements. Mailing data is provided via a secure file transfer site to the warehouse facility from the AHDB Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team for all warehouse mailing activities. Under the existing contract, a sole supplier provides all warehousing, mailing and fulfilment services for AHDB under the existing tender agreement. Storage of printed matter, from single sheet flyers, multi-page brochures and any marketing aids and tools are entered into an inventory according to the ordering AHDB sector. Estimated start date is 30th April 2023, initial 2 year contract with the option to extend for 2 periods of 12 months each.

Dairy Purchase Data - AHDB only contract AHDB intend to procure a Contract to a successful Provider or Providers for the provision of Meat and Dairy Consumer Data on behalf of AHDB, HCC and QMS (the Contracting Authority) through the process set out in this ITT. The successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver retail purchase data and insight relating to consumer demand, and deliver the most efficient service for all parties as well as ensuring value for money for levy payers is provided. AHDB utilise Meat and Dairy retail purchase data to provide value and services to our Levy payers. AHDB have engaged with HCC and QMS and identified the shared need for same and similar services, as all three bodies have the same purpose; working on behalf of UK farmers to help the red meat industry better understand and promote the category. AHDB are therefore procuring these services on behalf of all parties under one contract. The Contract is expected to commence on 1st April 2023. The initial Contract duration is 2 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year in 2025 and a further year in 2026 (2 +1+1) via single or multiple fixed terms. School education is a key priority for the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB). Our education work aims to ensure that school children understand where their food comes from and healthy eating so they are informed consumers of the future. We also actively support children to develop cooking skills.<br/><br/>To build on the success of AHDB’s existing education programme, AHDB is keen to explore opportunities to bring the ‘where food comes from’ message to life and enhance learning by facilitating educational visits and experiences of British working farms. This approach recognises the power of learning through experiencing, discovering, exploring and interacting with the real world beyond the classroom.<br/><br/>To test this approach, AHDB plans to undertake a series of pilot projects with experiential learning at their heart. These pilot projects will be a proof of concept and aim to establish which initiatives are most effective in delivering AHDB’s education objectives. <br/><br/>AHDB wants to work with an education specialist who can develop and deliver all of the planned pilot projects in England, including the evaluations thereof; this will ensure continuity of delivery and output across all pilot projects. AHDB are seeking a supplier to recruit English beef and lamb farms to upload their physical and financial data to their Farmbench tool as part of the annual exercise to gather representative physical and financial national datasets for the sector. This work forms part of the Insight and Evidence strand of the Beef & Lamb sector plan. Critically, assembling a robust and representative national dataset across the main production systems found in England will provide AHDB with insights into the sector's physical and financial performance which are not available anywhere else. Within the budget of up to £20k per year (Vat inclusive), one supplier is sought to: 1) Recruit new farm businesses to Farmbench. Each business must be in England and have at least one beef or sheep enterprise for the 2022/23 production year. 2) Collect and upload the farmer's data or support the farmer to upload their own data to Farmbench. 3) Perform basic checks to ensure the dataset is complete and representative before submitting it for validation by the AHDB Farmbench team. Following submission, this will require suppliers to review and answer questions and adjust data where necessary as a result. 4) Provide farmers with Farmbench reports highlighting their individual performance against aggregated and anonymised quartile benchmarks (downloaded from Farmbench) and an opportunity for the farmers to discuss the results and understand what they mean.
