Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWWFRS) makes up almost two-thirds of the landmass of Wales, covering a predominantly rural area of 4,500 square miles, comprising 56 stations and employing 1,351 staff. It is the third largest geographical Service in the United Kingdom, behind the Scottish and Northern Ireland Fire Services. We are an On Call (OC) Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) with some circa 650 OC members supported by a number of Flexi-day crewed and 224 Whole-time stations. MAWWFRS are now looking to undertake market intelligence around mobilisation, planning, rota and alerting systems and are now inviting expressions of interest to present to MAWWFRS on 11th October 2024.
