Damp, Mould & Timber Treatment Services: Remedial Works & Cleaning

Description

Damp & Mould remedial works and cleaning services for 9000 properties including housing stock, sheltered housing schemes, temporary accommodation sites and community centres distributed across the county of North Yorkshire. Contracts will be split into two lots: - Lot 1 Remedial Works: • Works will include but not exclusively the installation of Damp Proofing /Tanking works, cold bridging, plastering, woodworm and wet/dry rot treatments. • The contractor is expected to carry out all works to rectify any issues found in the provided survey report, including removal and reinstallation of fittings and fixtures in order to access the works area i.e. kitchen units, radiators, baths etc • External works to eradicate any water ingress into properties. i.e. guttering, downpipes, repointing, replacement of external finishes and installation of French drains. • To provide a full range of works, internal and external, for any remedial repairs following mould and damp surveyor reports. • Additional works highlighted during any remedial work to be authorised by the Authority prior to commencement. • All works are to meet Awaabs Law timescales - Lot 2 Mould cleaning and treatment services: • To provide a reactive mould removal and cleaning treatment service to meet Awaabs Law timescales.
