NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (“NHSGGC” or “the Board”) intends to establish a Board-wide framework agreement for the provision of fire door services across its Sectors. The proposed framework will encompass the supply, installation, repair, replacement, maintenance, inspection, compliance, and survey of fire doors, in accordance with the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Installation Scheme, the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance Scheme, and all applicable statutory and industry standards.
This PIN from The Board is to establish the number of suitably qualified suppliers that can demonstrate relevant third-party certification and competence in the installation and maintenance of fire doors. As a minimum, fire doors and door sets supplied, installed, maintained, repaired, or replaced under the framework shall be supported by appropriate certification and evidence of compliance with BS 8214, BS 476-20:1987, BS 476-22, and BS EN 1634:2014, as applicable to the works being undertaken.
