This ITT has been issued by Derry City and Strabane District Council (the Council) for the purposes of identifying a preferred Development Partner. Derry City and Strabane District Council wish to procure a developer to develop the site adjacent to the proposed Leisure Centre Development at Templemore Road, Derry. The Subject Property (for disposal) comprises of an area of land of circa 3.03Ha in the southeast corner of the existing Templemore Sport Complex site. As these lands are not required as part of the Templemore Leisure Centre redevelopment, the lands are being made available for sale/disposal. Council has also identified Other Potential (DFC) Land of circa 0.81Ha, immediately to the east of the Subject Property, which DfC may be willing to consider for disposal in support of this Development Opportunity. Council has commenced engagement with DfC in relation to this and will continue to assist the preferred Development Partner with the negotiations in this regard. There is also a portion of Other Council Lands forming part of the Templemore Leisure Centre redevelopment of circa 0.9Ha, to the west of the Subject Property, where is may be possible to development a Shared Community Facility. The total potential size of this Development Opportunity is therefore circa. 4.74Ha. Your submission must be submitted via etendersNI, via this CFT. No other method of submissions will be accepted.
