The requirements is for the services of specialised Intervention Officers at Birmingham New Street Station, to address anti-social behaviour (ASB) through the enforcement powers delegated by the ASB Act. These officers enhance passenger safety and improve the overall environment of one of the UK's busiest transport hubs. The officers address ASB using enforcement powers that are delegated solely to local authorities and police. The contract covers the entire New Street Station site, where officers patrol, engage with the public, deter ASB, and utilise enforcement powers as needed. Officers will be on duty from 6 am to 12 am, Monday to Saturday. Officers are trained in personal safety, administering Naloxone, and awareness of modern slavery and county lines.
